Game series you've put the most time into?

Mass Effect. I had 8 playthroughs on the first game and am working on my fourth for the second. I think that amounts to a substantial amount of playtime.
Legend of Zelda. I've got over 250 hours from just Wind Waker, and another 200 for Twilight Princess. Then there's at least 200 for Oracle of Ages, another 50 or so for the original. The list goes on. I've probably got almost 1000 hours from just Legend of Zelda games alone.
Elder Scrolls by a fair stretch. Between Oblivion which got the lions share and Morrowind there were at least 3,000 hours sunk into that series.
Kingdom Hearts. I likely have about 600 hours logged between the two for the PS2. A couple hundred for the hand helds.
I really, really, really love those games.
Second would be WoW. Though all together i doubt i have played even 400 hours over the past five years.

Elder Scrolls by a fucking mile!!! No game or should I say franchise has taken so much time out of my life. I remember when I didn't have the money to buy Morrowind, but I did have enough to rent it. So I rented it... 4 times... and played it at least 7 or 8 hours a day. Then Oblivion, it had the same effect on me. By those 2 games were thee best. 
These 2 games combined I'm sure I have wasted probably 1000hrs. This is no joke. well maybe a little lol. more like 700ish hours.
Well I should add that Fallout 3 did take almost the exact same amount of time out of me as Oblivion, but not quite. For fallout 3 its around 300 hours; Give or take a dozen hours.

Definitely Zelda. I've played through OoT about twice as many times as I've played through every other game I've ever played put together.
Probably either Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights.
Replayed the Baldur's Gate series multiple times from start to finish, and it is a long pair of games to complete. So a good chunk of my life has been wasted away enjoyably on that. On the other hand I've played a lot of mods for Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. A lot. There are literally hundreds of fan-made campaigns and story out there for these games, and I've at least tried a good chunk of them.
Then again there's also the Civ series and the Total War series, I've put more than a little time into those as well. And Unreal Tournament, I used to play UT99 and 2004 quite a bit and have dabbled in plenty of mods for those games as well.
To hell with it; I have no clue. All of the above I guess?

Football Manager. (World Soccer Manager in the states, I think)
If you count the series, even including Championship Manager... Then probably around 10.000 hours. I'm tossing out a number here - it may be a lot more, or maybe a little less.

Either Halo or WoW... I really wish this decision wasn't so nerdy... And I really wish I had my damn WoW account back!!!
C&C series and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series both have eaten away about 500 hours. And then ofcourse there is Fallout 3 GotY and it has taken about 200 hours of my life.
It's probably Half-Life because I've played through each one a handful of times. Metal Gear Solid is probably second (got all of the tags in 2), then Final Fantasy. I'm a lightweight here, but I have a low tolerance for repetition. For each game, I usually don't do "playthroughs". Instead I'll just keep a few savepoints, then load one and run around in the game world until i get bored. So these are very rough estimates.
Tie between modded Morrowind & Neverwinter Nights. up to 8 hours a day for a solid month.
