This. I was sure that after the Drowning Doom there would be another chapter to kick Doviculus's armies the hell out of Bladehenge and that whole side of the continent. I liked the story overall, but that ending felt really rushed and abrupt.Drakmeire said:

This is me playing the first(?) human level in Aliens vs Predators 2.
"Ok, we are finally leaving. Oh boy, another cutscene. Lets see what gets blown/torn up this time. Wait, you want to go back and rescue that one solider chick who got snatched by the aliens? She is dead, mother fucker! Let things be! Why are you forcing me to risk your life for a lost cause, mr. human?"
<30 minutes and 53,621 dead aliens later>
"Okay, I finally found you *****, let us get out of here. Wait, let me guest, a chest busters is gonna burst out of your tummy? Yep, I knew you were dead. I told you, mother fucker! She was dead! Now, let us get out of here before they make us dead too."
I was young and I cursed a lot.

hmmm, i believe the worst moment ever was when i first played the force unleashed and suddenly realized it wasn't the jedi knight sequel i thought it was going to be.... it was a stupidly over powered, casual gamer focused piece of dog shit, with the worst rape of the star wars storyline since the "new" star wars movies. i was so looking forward to that game.... i was so wrong
There a lot, though a game that I recently played really annoys me as it is just stupid. In Killzone 2 when an ally is injured you simply zap them with a ray gun type thing and their all good. About half way through one of your team mates is shot, struggles for the rest of the level, and then dies. Seriously, its one of those moments when a game play rule makes the story laughable.
Dragon Quest V is made of this.
First your dad dies at the hands of Bishop Ladja, sold into slavery where you build a monument to the demon god for 10 years. Then you bust out and either get hitched to your childhood friend or some other lady you just met. Not so bad now, you find out you're the heir to some castle. Lookin' good, you get your two kids and go off to finish your rite of passage. Then your wife gets kidnapped, you and she are turned to stone for 8 years and you get to watch some rich merchant guy's kid grow up instead of your own. Getting to kill Ladja and his cronies was satisfying.
