I'm flying out tomorrow in the early hours to a destination with Internet that I'm advised is a combination of unreliable, slow, patchy and pricey. Now my packing mantra of "leaving it to the last day" (so that nothing is forgotten or needs removing after being packed) has caught up to me. I have only 2 hours or so before bed to load some games onto my laptop and I need your suggestions as to which to take.

I have a tiny 12" laptop, but it's a a very capable games machine spec wise. On the plane I'm restricted by battery power and a touchpad so I think the most intensive 3D games will be out. What games should I load up in the next two hours for a) in-flight entertainment and b) the downtime while abroad? I'll be using Steam in offline mode. My Steam list is here [http://steamcommunity.com/id/kingsgambit/games/], but any other suggestions of games I don't own are also welcome.

Only restrictions are no early access games or anything that requires Internet access. Anyone who suggests Minesweeper or Solitaire will be politely asked to leave the thread and have their gamer cards and credentials withdrawn. Two hours starts...now!

One finger death punch its easy to play on laptops and is a tiny game download wise its pretty quick fire as well so good for small sessions or medium goes but long sessions are probably out.

You could download the Arcanum games they again are tiny in file size but absolutely huge game wise graphically they are ass but if you dig their worlds and combat then you wont have to worry about other games for a while. Its turn based by the way so there shouldnt be any controller issues.

Sorry my suggestions are a bit limited.

You could do a lot worse than Armadillo Run [http://www.armadillorun.com/]. It's a fun little 3D physics-based puzzle game in which you have to get an armadillo to the exit portal. A little bit like a bridge-building game, only better.

FTL? Cheap, retro, and curiously addictive space tactics game.
Nintendo hard though, so might get a bit repetitive.

There's also Deadlight, which is a sidescrolling/platforming postapocalyptic game. I've not yet finished it, but it seems fairly decent so far (and I'm not really into platformers).

Both these are on Steam and are minimally-sized downloads which shouldn't require too much CPU power.

It turns out I have both of these already, so have decided to go with these! I'm also an hour past bedtime :) Thanks for these suggestions.

If you'll just come this way please Sir *escorts cloro towards the exit*. I'm gonna need to confiscate your gamer card as well. :p

if your not gone yet, I could reccomend binding of isaac, that ones cheap and seeing as you'll die...often haha, you'll have to take it from the start again each time. Incase you havent heard of it yet, its sorta a dungeoncrawler along the lines of (atleast in my opinion) Zelda from the NES/SNES era. The only thing that can annoy one about the game would be its cruel difficulty via rng. One playthrough you could be running around with godmode, whilst the next game you run around with the greatest crap imaginable to mankind.

Have a safe trip.

Edit: Wow, I just noticed this was posted 2 days ago haha..seems Im a bit late. Ah well, maybe it gave someone else an idea of what to fiddle around with if it sounds interesting to them.
