Super Gatchapon World SD Gundam X. Turnbased Grid Strategy game for the SNES, Japan only. Conquor cities and factories and sattelites to gain resources, build mobile suits, control those mobile suits in controllable 2d battles when you fight. It had no storymode, you can only have skirmishes against the AI or another player on semi customizable maps. Barebones but SHOCKINGLY DEEP. Controll of space/and or planets makes a difference, mobile suits and ships have different move radius' in or out of atmosphere. There are even "Marine" mobile suits that perform like turds on land and corvettes underwater (they won't function in space at all). And yes, these suits can be important on Planets (there are moons and planets, moons have no atmosphere so mobile suits move faster but ships slower since they're operating close to ground, ships are fastest in space, etc etc). Ships act as both troop carriers (necessary in space and if you expect to push any kind of offensive unless your pushing out a neverending stream of slow moving troops on impulse power - but ships or faster moving enemys can just go AROUND you and steal your sattelites or make planet fall) and artillery pieces, being the only units able to attack something further then a space away from it. Oh, there's also a cover system thats useful when attacking as/being attacked by a space ship.
..Uh, yeah, I like this game.

I've played most of these games- Vagrant story (I might be mixing it up with Vandal Hearts, your a "breaker" or something?), Heart of Darkness (I ALMOST beat it, got to like the last sequence of the last level), Mystic Ninja Goemon (GANBARE IMPACT!), etc.
