What games did you play a loooong time ago and never heard about again?

For example, does anyone remember the game Jet Set Radio Future? I barely do, but I still remember it was fun.

Chubby Gristle. Although Google returns 16,400 results so maybe it's not completely unknown.

That was a great game. I'm thinking of the XBOX version but I think it was on other consoles before.
I also have a feeling this will turn into another underappreciated-no it wasn't-Okami- thread.

L.O.L. - Lack of Love- I guess a game like Spore but predates it.

I know plenty of people who know of Jet Set Radio Future. I recently started playing that again. Not sure if as good as the original now. Defo smoother than the original. Will never forget the soundtrack.

That game was awesome. Best XBox game IMO.

But I have to say Lost Kingdoms

Right now, Etrian Odyssey 2. Also, cookie for anyone that can remember the name of the GBA launch game that featured a rotating stick that you had to guide through mazes without hitting the walls. I really want to play it again but can't remember the damn name.

Hostile Waters, I believe it was called Antaeus Rising in the states, great hybrid shooter/RTS with an awesome storyline by Warren Spector and narrated by Tom baker

Baten Kaitos for Gamecube. And I'd I'd agree with that Lost Kingdoms comment. Tragic, really, as it's a pretty good game.

A side-scrolling, grim action game called 'Eat This.' My dad brought it for me from a trip he took to Russia when I was young. Since I moved to the US, I'd lost the CD. I'd like to play it again.

Google returns nothing.

The Baten Kaitos gameplay is great and the story is awesome. I never thought that the main character is the villain. What a shock

I had a game for the PS1 called Heart of Darkness, a platformer about a kid trying to rescue his pet dog from the darkness realm or something. I never completed it as it was so dam hard and no one i know has ever played/heard of it.

I got another one-it was for Game Boy Color, all I remember is that in the first 5 second of the game there's this scaryass skull that shows up. then you die. I was 7 at the time and it scared me. I think I gave it to my friend

Super Gatchapon World SD Gundam X. Turnbased Grid Strategy game for the SNES, Japan only. Conquor cities and factories and sattelites to gain resources, build mobile suits, control those mobile suits in controllable 2d battles when you fight. It had no storymode, you can only have skirmishes against the AI or another player on semi customizable maps. Barebones but SHOCKINGLY DEEP. Controll of space/and or planets makes a difference, mobile suits and ships have different move radius' in or out of atmosphere. There are even "Marine" mobile suits that perform like turds on land and corvettes underwater (they won't function in space at all). And yes, these suits can be important on Planets (there are moons and planets, moons have no atmosphere so mobile suits move faster but ships slower since they're operating close to ground, ships are fastest in space, etc etc). Ships act as both troop carriers (necessary in space and if you expect to push any kind of offensive unless your pushing out a neverending stream of slow moving troops on impulse power - but ships or faster moving enemys can just go AROUND you and steal your sattelites or make planet fall) and artillery pieces, being the only units able to attack something further then a space away from it. Oh, there's also a cover system thats useful when attacking as/being attacked by a space ship.

..Uh, yeah, I like this game.

I've played most of these games- Vagrant story (I might be mixing it up with Vandal Hearts, your a "breaker" or something?), Heart of Darkness (I ALMOST beat it, got to like the last sequence of the last level), Mystic Ninja Goemon (GANBARE IMPACT!), etc.

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident on PC. A Real-time Tactical space simulator. It had its fair share of bugs, but I absolutely love that game.
