Yes! And here I thought I was the only one!

Something like Mass Effect or Alpha Protocol where you had your main hub zone where you could regroup with the other survivors and plan for the next mission/whatever.
Alternately, an openworld first person kinda deal, ala Fallout 3, but set primarily in a city, rather than a wasteland.

Either would definately fill the story-driven zombie game void that games like Dead Rising or Resident Evil couldn't.
Dude you took the words right outta my mouth. Kudos.

Stealth, lots of stealth, with lots of dark corners and more stealth... did I mention stealth? and a deep RPG fantasy that managed to be perfect... I can always dream

I want to see a fully randomised co-op FPS, with fully randomised guns, levels, enemies hell even characters, with randomised sounds, music and voice sets.

Also, like Spelunky, they should make it if you die you cannot return to the mission, which I think would make every game unique.

I would like to see a MMORTS in the theme of homeworld. In homeworld, you have a mothership instead of a base, allowing you to move your production around and explore the universe if needed. This would keep the exploratory element of most good MMO's intact. At the same time it would allow you to log out without worries. After all, your mothership could remain savely docked with a station or 'warp away' enabling you to log off without the fear of your base being stomped while you were AFK, something that turned me of most MMORTS's.
I'd imagine such a game to be awesome, as you have all the exploration and community elements that make MMO's such time and money blackholes and have actual strategy rather than just button mashing the 1 key to cast fireball.

Those are good ideas... although I doubt much more is going to happen with Halo now. They've said Reach will be the last Halo game.

I'd like to see some better horror games. Ones that are genuinely scary, like the original silent hills. Although I only played those when i was 8, which might explain why they were scary...
Some games get close. Theres that moment in resident evil 4, the first time the chainsaw zombie cuts your head off. The tension created by the old Thief games was amazing too.

Star Wars: Stormtrooper. Kind of like a Republic Commando style gameplay with the progression and intrigue of TIE Fighter.

Reach is the last Bungie-made Halo game. Microsoft retains the rights to the Halo IP, so you can bet a good amount of money they're going to exploit it.

THE LONGEST JOURNEY 3! NOW!

Ahem.
Yup.

Also a space pirate game wich is both a Space flight Game like Freelancer or Freespace and an Ego-Shooter. Should feature both story missions and "Freeform Gameplay" in wich you can freely attack ships, bring thier shields down, and then take over from within.
The "optional" Ship-Levels would be based on a general layout, but certain parameters are randomized. Also, it could be possible that the artificial gravity in a ship fails, wich would mean you'd have to fight in Zero-G.

Also, thanks to Alpha Protocol, i now want a new Mission Impossible (the PSX/N64 one) Game that features the same mix of "Undercover" Missions, Shooting Setpieces and Stealth Sections.
As an alternative, i would also take a sequel to Alpha Protocol with the gameplay being replaced by something better and also closer to the "Hitman" Series.

And i want a futuristic hoverboard racing game similar to SSX Tricky.

Oh, and maybe a game where you are a hard boiled cop in a non-stylized World with a good story and a gameplay mix between Adventure and Third Person Shooter

Another Mother game... they're so fun and quirky, and the narrative in 3 was great. However, I doubt there will be one... let alone an English version...

Hmm, a sequel to Eternal Darkness would be good, something on a similar vein.

Alternatively a new Jet Set Radio game with full free roaming, that'd be baddass.

Or, Freedom Fighters 2...

Yes, i know they're all sequels but GODDAM were those games good...

A game where you are on the evil side.
You start off the game as a grunt soldier, but you work your way up the ranks. You do this by either killing or intimidating those above you. You're given the choice, and the game changes slightly depending on your choices. E.g. Let them live, and you get more help on other missions, but there is a chance they will turn on you (there would be more of an impact in a sequel). But, if you kill them, your soldiers would be more loyal (through fear).
Also at the start, you get a choice of three armours: Light, medium, and heavy. Light armour provides less protection, and your choice of weapons is limited to light guns (pistols and smg), but you're faster and can jump higher, and have a dodge roll move. Heavy gives a lot of protection, and you can use any weapon, but you are incredibly slow and can barely jump, meaning you must take the longest routes. Medium is between the two.
The main goal is to run the evil organisation and rule the country/world/wherever it is.
The main enemy would be something like the U.N., and the main villain/hero would be your best friend who defected to the good side.
Oh, and it'd be an FPS.
And no, you never become good.

An RTS where all the factions are different species of insects. So you'd have the nomadic army ants, the one-shot bees, the highly mobile and deadly but expensive wasps etc etc.

Actually, I hate RTSs.

How about Ubisoft just releases Beyond Good and Evil 2. That would make me happy.

A good Halo sequel?

A good Peter Molyneux game?

Hmm, this is hard.

I'd actually love to see a true sequel to the Splinter Cell franchise. Conviction was such a huge letdown, and I've almost completely lost faith in Ubisoft now.

They just can't stop screwing games up, can they?

Agreed. This would be pure genious, and who wouldn't love it?
"COngratulations! You levelled up to level 5 and now have the power to slice a zombie's head in half while at the same time removing it's bollocks!"
Hours of fun for the family Chrissie dinner.
