Nothing compares to the shame I have to live with every day that I, at one time, used to play....*choke*....Star Wars Galaxies.
Guess I'll be the first to say WoW (though I am currently on indefinite hiatus).
I oddly have no problem admitting to enjoying Kingdom Hearts and KH2 immensely, even though I personally hate Disney and everything they stand for. The battle engine was just so much fun to me, are there more games out there like it that I am currently ignorant to?

I never said anything was wrong with it. I've been given some stick for playing The Sims before, though. You know, "not a real gamer" and all that. It's from similar people who'd denigrate Pokemon and Kirby for being, on the surface, kiddie, and who'd diss Harvest Moon. As I said, I have no regrets. Someone explaining to me why they don't like a game I like doesn't change my opinion of the game at all, only my opinion of them.popdafoo said:

Also, Okami to an extent. It's my personal video game messiah, but I tend to get a little self-conscious whenever the flowers start springing up everywhere. Even moreso when I realize I enjoy it. Still, Amaterasu's the goddess of the sun and mother of creation, so I guess that gives a proper excuse.

On topic (if there is such a thing here), I would say Super Mario Galaxy if I hadn't already recommended it to about 4 dozen mothers shopping for their kids.
Actually, I'm more ashamed/embarrassed/meh about not playing first-person shooters. Before anyone whines about that, I just don't get how shooting a guy in the head is better than splitting someone open with a beam katana (Namelessfacelessvoicelessgun-totingstoic vs. Travis Touchdown...FIGHT!).
I reached around 200k in that rabbit game and was ready to give it up. You didn't get me THIS TIME.
Um....most likely oblivion i know what your going to say the problem is in a class of four guys i'm the only one who can enjoy a game that doesn't involve a run and gun policy

The game (or at least the first level before the game broke my x-box) is very misogynistic. Characters will randomly say things like "Get that fat ***** of my back" which is extremely embarrassing if there a women in the room. The whole atmosphere is nasty and unpleasant to listen to.

I have one group of friends who are all awesome at Guitar Hero, so I feel embarrassed when I suck while I'm playing with them. However, most of my other friends suck at it, so I feel embarrassed when I do well around them.
