that's fairly obvious but surely the game could load more than one room at a time so you don't have to sit through the door screen every single bloody time. it could give you a quick scene where you just walk through that door (a la Zelda/Mario) and only doing the cut scene bit when you move to a different floor or go through a door that goes from one side of a building to another. i've played Zero, 1, 2 and 3 on GC and i never thought the door loading screens was a good idea. at one point i actually thought 'i miss the word 'LOADING' that comes up in other games'Arkley said:

RE4 is the last one I played...and I loved it...but it's just not the same. Sure it can be exciting when the Ganados gang up on you...but with all the exploitable tactics (knife, kick/ suplex, ladders/ ledges, grenades, sniper rifle) you know you will be victorious.

Though people still play quake 3, and that's just as old.
I noticed you didn't include Chibi Robo on your list even though someone mentioned it, please don't let that gem get away. It's short, but it's a very cute platformer game with a nice story and beautiful level design.
Well one of my favorites, and one of my first FPS's was Gheist. Great if you have the car adaptor for our game cube, so you can stab your friends to death as a pair of scissors on a long car ride
Metroid: Prime is one of the best games ever. Still, Wii controls edition is better.

A unique RPG, both in setting and gamemechanics. Its pretty hard to get by (least on my side of the Atlantic). For a gamecube game, the graphics are pretty damn good.....but you'll have to put up with some earbleedingly bad voice acting.
Worth a look if you can find it for cheap though.

Well, its a good jumping on point if you dont want to play the nes games. It was pretty amusing.
I would say Eternal Darkness and Timesplitters too, but I never got a working copy of either of them, so I cant judge
...returned the game to Rogers and rented it again the next weekend, restarted and super trained :3 wasted that boss battle with a deck almost full of time damage dealing swords xD strong things
