"Gamer" Australian Release.

I live in Australia and several months ago I found the trailer for "Gamer" whilst browsing Youtube. I was awestruck by the trailer (my kinda movie) and waited for the announcement of it's Australian release.

Nothing. No word from Aus cinemas about a potential release, most people not even hearing of the movie. As a massive fan of Michael C. Hall and Gerard Butler... I'm dissapointed. There is just one thing that I want to know.

Why is Australia not getting "Gamer"?

I heard that it had some pretty stereotypical characters, and had no idea what "Gamers" are really like. I did not see it myself though.

I've heard that it is pretty average aswell, but without going by illegal means, I have to wait until the American or English dvd release to buy it, which could take quite some time.

All I've heard is MovieBob's review which gave me the impression that if I ever wanted to see it I should probably wait 'till it was playing on TV.
