Yep, I can say I do if that's how you describe.

I notice practically everything in my view(unless it's in plain site for I'm to busy looking in small spots....yes I know...pathetic.)

And yea it does help in real life, you'll notice things more often, notice the small things that usual people wouldn't. But people don't believe that. Sad Face.

I would say I do, particularly on Bioshock , whether thats because im on edge cos of the trippyness idk, but on certain games i do have a heightened sense of perception. (Bioshock, Condemned games like that)

Once I've played enough COD4, I tend to duck on impulse to avoid where snipers might be, and I get ultra-cautious. I can also track the map, ammo counts, incoming grenades...sometimes these things tend to distract me from what I can actually see, though.

In other games, I played so much Deus Ex that I could hear the security cameras in my sleep.
I played Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines so much that whenever I could feel my RL stomach growling, I kept thinking of finding fresh Kine to suck the blood from. Sometimes it even worked...

Hitman made me paranoid. Half-Life gave me an affinity for crowbars. Every FPS I've ever played has increased my habit of sizing situations up, often from the perspective of a zombie apocalypse.

I have "parkour vision" if that counts, much like the one used in Mirrors Edge, though obstacles and things don't turn a different colour for me. I just point and say "ooooo, that would be great to do a precision/catpass/lazy/reverse/turn between/over" and go do said thing and feel proud afterwards:D

i often think I could just shoot a portal onto Canterbury Cathedral from my window, shoot another one on the lawn, jump out, go through, and gradually decrease momentum through other portals. Much easier than catching the bus.

I have gaming ears. I know exactly which sound belongs to which item in diablo 2.

That's where it stops though :p

I'm really paranoid, but that's probably because of Sennybridge military camp with the cadets.

Cos they teach you things, and these things bleed over into ordinary life, and considering I play Adventure Games, FPSs and survival horrors, I am exceptionally paranoid, so I:

Scan all rooms the moment I enter for threats, usefull stuff, and exits.
I Constantly look into windows and where uneasy looking people are.
I constantly spot things before my friends.
I seem to have a better forsight as in, if a ball is rolling I can tell which direction it will go by the lay of the land and if I'll be able to catch it if I run for it.
And I have a habit of fighting like a british soldier, and winning!

Yes, I do this very frequently. I use the "Gamer eyes" Trick almost everywhere. It annoys the hell out of my friends. :)
