Gamers Goatee

The other night i got to talking with a buddy of mine, and we noticed we're both gamers and we both have goatees. we got to thinking there are allot of male gamers sporting goatee's of late, not that there aren't female gamers with goatee's but it seems to be less popular for some reason. Seems like over half the dudes that take the time to get to the last castle end up with handsome well groomed facial fixtures. Do you (the escapist community) believe the dashing and glorious goatee is a staple of the gaming community, or is the frequency of its majesty just an odd coincidence.

I plan on growing out a goatee, if for nothing else than to see how I look with it. So far it doesn't look too bad methinks.

I'm in a large gaming society and more than half of the male members do have some description of facial hair.
Curse my inability to grow proper facial hair!!

Well, the frequency of its majesty can't be a coincidence... because it has no frequency of majesty. Because its not majestic. I think they look stupid.

I wouldn't think there would be any female gamers with goatees. It may have something to do with the fact that women don't tend to have facial hair...

OT: I don't think it has anything to do with being a gamer, I think that it's just becoming popular at this time. Who knows, though. You might be on to something.

No, by the way. I don't have a goatee, but these three guys I know do, and they all play games.

All the gamers I know don't have... then again, about a third of them are girls. I don't have a goatee, personally, and I don't intend to grow one.

Nah, I am not a fan of facial hair in general.
Its annoying and looks average at the best of times.

Although... I generally walk around unshaven towards the end of the week just because I hate shaving even more.

I have a short beard but I tend to shave it off frequently.

I like to keep myself clean other wise I look like a stereotypical Middle Easterner

I got full facial hair (trimmed of course) but the sides are still too light to be visible at long range so I guess I have a "goatee"

(Just realized I used "Long range" in a sentence... I sicken myself)

I don't have a goatee, and neither of my friends do either, so I'd say it's not a fair generalization.
