With me it's kind of a requirement. I'd need to be with someone that at least liked gaming a little.

Been with plenty of non gamer girls and never was an issue.Got lucky though and married a total gamer geek like me so all is good in my world on that end :)
Congratulations :) I'm very happy for you that you found love, not just because she is a gamer girl, but because, well, it's love :)

I've been with a non gamer for over a year now, and she's fine with me playing games a lot, so there's no real issue.
I'm certainly no purist.

It really makes no difference to me; I've always dated non-gamers. But it does need to be someone who is okay with me playing games, which I don't do all too much anyway, so it shouldn't make a difference. It really should just be someone who is okay with me and what I do, between girls scared I'm going to kill myself practicing parkour or girls who can't understand a word I say because I love words/grammar/language that's a difficult requisite.

Holy crap, gamers can get into relationships?

Just kidding. Sure, if I had the ability to speak to other humans besides myself.
