The "outrage" sounds like gibberish. Edifying. No really, if you wanted to be not taken seriously ever again, you would post stuff like: ""I want to kick a dolphin in its (netherparts) hard"". In all caps. Grief.

Sorry, I'm grossed out.

What annoys me able all the rage is that there wasn't - in all likelihood - going to be a Bayonetta 2 until Nintendo stepped in to pick it up. But since it's Nintendo and "they're not for hardcore gamers" any more, this gets a huge amount of rage compared to if Microsoft or Sony.

Well one way or another these "fans" will have to

Given Nintendo's image, and how.. "well" mature themed games, often do on Nintendo's systems, I'm actually interested in seeing how Bayonetta 2 turns out. Seems a bit of catch 22. If Nintendo lets the game go through titally unaltered it's quite possibly not going to sell all that well. if they enforce any obvious content changes to make it more palatable to the typical Nintendo audience they'll just be tagged as meddling mature game killing kiddy content providers.

Of course, I had no interest in all in the first game so I don't really care much how the sequel turns out or what system it comes out on either way.

I only had Nintendo consoles up until I bought a Wii and had nothing worthwhile to play after twilight princess. I sold it, picked up a PS3 and never looked back. Loved Bayonetta for it's combat and would love to play the sequel.

Seeing as most games are multi-platform and will likely be available on my current console, it's likely I'll wait for the next PlayStation/Microsoft consoles to come out and them make my decision.

Hardcore game becomes exclusive to a casual console and gamers become upset.

"We never saw it coming."
Said absolutely no one ever.

A shit console exclusive gets a shit console exclusive sequel? STOP THE PRESSES!

Yeah, I don't have much love for a game called Bayonetta; What gave it away?
If you're willing to be civil I'd loved to hear why.

Sorry, I'm always curious to why people dislike games I love.

OT: Stop bitching, at least you're actually getting a sequel. Even if Nintendo hasn't realized the potential of their own console this means we have one game to look forward to.

Honestly, I'm finding it more and more difficult to get worked up over random people on the internet getting worked up because they can't do the simple math of game gets made > game not made.

It's pretty clear that this is another Destructoid "we like to get hits" article reposted here...

Before you start typing, just think about your favorite franchise turning "Exclusive" and how you'd react e.g. Witcher 2 WiiU Exclusive, Halo 7 PS3 Exclusive, Dark Souls 2 WiiU Exclusive, Newest Zelda Title PS3 Exclusive etc. The practice of paying money to keep a game on one platform alone, especially when there is no other technical or design hurdle for releasing everywhere just sucks :p
Bayonetta 2 would not have been made otherwise (see my above simple math).

I realize this was a simple typo, but I find it hilarious given some of Bayonetta's more ample features.

Ive resigned myself to getting a Wii U as soon as i heard that a Monster Hunter game was coming to it. One thats getting out of Japan, that is.

And my chief reservations for Bayonetta 2 has nothing to do with exclusivity, it has to do with the possibility of the game being undercut by Nintendo's family-friendly policies and the inclusion of potentially unreliable controls in a fast-paced reaction-intensive and (if the first game is anything to go on) fiendishly hard hack and slash.

Anyway heres a helpful video.

Oh lawdy. I'm calling on their bluff to become a seriously threat to Nintendo otherwise to me it's all words and no action other than not buying the Wii U.

"I know right? Freakin' Konami, thinking that the Playstation 1 could ever compete with the Nintendo 64! Metal Gear Solid is simply gonna fail because it won't be as hardcore as Metal Gear wa- Oh wait..."

Yeah, this isn't the first time of this situation happening, but it is something special still. I can understand why people would like Bayonetta 2 on other Consoles, but they'll all (Or most of them will) get over it and eventually buy a WiiU, not just for B2, but for everything else the WiiU Will get (Or they'll just watch the Let's Plays).

Actually, Nintendo rarely intervenes in the process of other companies making games. One famous example is "Conker's Bad Fur Day". This game came out for the N64, then again for the XBox. Now, here's a side by side comparison of one scene:

Notice how the XBox Version censors out words. That wasn't Rare's decision, that was Microsoft. Meanwhile, when they were working with Nintendo, Nintendo might have thrown a suggestion or two, but all decisions were left to Rare. That's why CBFD on N64 only censors the F word, while Microsoft's version pretty much censors every naughty word imaginable.

I bet Bayonetta 2 will go through uncensored. It would be stupid for Nintendo to censor any of it, and that's not the usual company policy.

I was upset at the announcement, I'll admit, but I wasn't "Let's murder the employees of Nintendo" upset.

Yet again we're showing the world just how mature gamers are.

Okay, that's hilarious. You deserve a cookie, no, several cookies, for noticing that and calling it out.

Of COURSE the better option is that there would be NO BAYONETTA AT ALL. Because otherwise, SOMEONE GETS TO ENJOY SOMETHING WHILE I DON'T, AND THAT'S JUST NOT OKEY!

They essentially did. They're publishing it after it was pretty much cancelled, meaning Bayonetta 2 only exists because Nintendo themselves put in the money to complete it. You don't pay to finish a game and then let it go to your competitors' systems.

When did crying a lot become the definition of hardcore gamers? Even in the Nintendon't times, I never saw as many tears.
