cliché at its worst. this is why i hate gamers (don't get me wrong here, i hate everyone, but i reserved a special spot in hell for gamers).
Creating a game as a wedding invitation and making proposals in video games, so creative and yet they're still scum! Scum of the earth I say! Gamers one and all, I hate them, I'm so jealous cause they're so cool and I'm not! ;P
yeah, copying a few mario/donkey kong stages is very creative. i bet if i did the same and released it as a game, everyone would condone me for my creativity and not sue my ass into oblivion for stealing game assets!

doing this isn't creative, it's predictable, zany and corny. if they had designed their own game, or puzzle, or anything original i would have taken my hat off. but, you see, i don't give people credit for ripping off others.

quoting for replies:

....predictable....riiiiiggght, wait, predictable of them? or gamers in general?

it's not whether people do it, it's that you could see it coming from a mile away; especially when they consider themselves 'gamers'.

That seems a bit....what's the word I'm looking for..is there a word for it??? I guess I'd say prejudice? Oh and again what is predictable, the wedding invitation video game, or the mario wedding invitation video game

how is it prejudicial [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/prejudice]? really, it's just cliché and predictable because you'd expect 'gamers' to do something like this. it's the same with the people who try to imitate their favorite video game characters in every other way exploitable. it's not funny, it's not cool; it's just sad.

the hypocrisy is of course that if anyone actually did a game like this and released it, people would frown upon it as the developer would get every piece of clothing sued off their body. no originality, no creativity, just plain imitation.

...and people ask me why i hate them.

Actually there have been games like that, that have been released, and I say prejudice because you're saying gamers who get married who would send wedding invites out as a video game would only do a mario based video game/wedding invitation (least thats what it sounds like you're saying, also I probably could have worded that better
