Civilization: Revolution for $10. The thrift store in my (now former) college town was usually a gold mine for good, cheap games. Also picked up The Witcher for $7 and a near-mint copy of Fear Effect for $8.

Dark Cloud - Got it second hand in GAME's huge tub of games that have been traded in. For some reason they don't have the tub any more. /cry

I got Spyro, Tenchu and Code Veronica for £10 and I liked them. Pity they don't do those deals for PS3.

I bought too human for like 8.98$ or something and have played over 20 hours already. That might just be because I like diablo so much and its a decent loot hack and slash. XD
I thought Too human sucked. Were the reviewers being too harsh on the game?
Yes, and no. It drags for mythical amounts of time, but the gameplay itself was compelling I thought.

EDIT: The concept kept me going for one playthrough, but there's so much you can unlock only by completing multiple playthroughs.

Back in the days of my young childhood, I got Driver 2 second hand from Blockbuster for £7. Best year of my life.

I bought Metroid Prime 1 and 2 from eBay for $15, about a year after MP 2 came out.
They're still fun to this day.

As Iwamori said, Too Human is just a hack & slash. There are some people who like those kinds of games, but there's a great deal of people who don't.

Oh yes, plenty.

NHL 2K6 or 2K7 (can't remember), some rally game for the original Xbox (no Collin McRae, but something less known), SSX3, Anno 1701.

All of these games have one thing in common: Highly addictive local multiplayer options.

I'm awaiting GH: Aerosmith I was able to find in the new/used section, supposedly new and factory sealed for $3.49 + $3.99 s/h. I've found a few games this way over the years paying far less than original price...if you're willing to wait a few months for it to show up there.

Divine divinity, quite bad in graphics etc, but at £5, a steal. there's even a part where you can literally kill the game's Bugs (and get some 'awesome' armour upgraded).
