Drakan: Order of the flame [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drakan]

I still play this game from time to time. The dragon riding mechanics were brilliant and the story and characters were enjoyable.

Zelda, Orcarina of time, basically just make it with the Twilight Princess engines, and keep all the places and story exactly the same, that would be epic.

I'm not a big fan of the idea of game remakes. It's a waste of imagination, really. Instead of re-creating the same game's story and idea with shinier graphics and better game engines they could go the extra step and make it a new game inspired by the older one.

Sequels however...

I would have liked a sequel to Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge by Ron Gilbert. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Curse of Monkey Island (But don't get me started on how terrible 'Escape' was...) and it was generally faithful to the concepts and characters but from the opening moments I could tell that this was not how it was supposed to be. But I wouldn't have them re-make Curse.

Also, I would have liked another instalment of Icewind Dale. I liked the first game being a bit different (more RTS than RPG!) and I really thought the story and voice acting and general atmosphere in the second game was excellent. Isair and Medae remain two of the most interesting villains I've encountered in a game. Also, both the opening and ending hinted that there was a little more to what was going on and that there was more story to tell. I got the impression I was playing a prelude to something. What? I don't know. Perhaps I never will, now.

And of course, a Freespace III by Volition (If it isn't Volition, it isn't FS3) to explain, perhaps, the ever unknowable Shivans, the events of the second game's ending, the fate of Terra, etc...

Mechwarrior 2 remake.

the Jagged Alliance series. Sure other Turnbased and smart pause squad level tactical games have come and gone but nothing ever has really measured up. Made by the original team, with the original voice actors.
Hell yes...

I'd definitely want Ivan, Wolf and Iceman returning.
Oh, and FIDEL.
I loved Fidel.
I forgot if Fox and Ears were in JA2...

No game deserves a remake.

As for sequels, only those continuing a storyline deserve sequels. Nothing should get the same title (Mario, Grand Theft Auto, etc.) unless they continue an ongoing story. Otherwise, the producers are just milking the franchise.
Actually there are games that deserve an and they are so old they would have to have a remake in order to put in a sequel

for example they should emake kid Icarus but with better storyline
Earthbound has an ok story but i want it to be remade
If they were to put Geno and Mallow in another game they would have to remake super mario RPG

They should either remake Battlezone (1998)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlezone_(1998_video_game)
or make Battlezone 3

Streets of Rage.

Nice diverse cast, good music, all they need to do is bring it to 3d make it free roaming, get good voice actors, base it on a good story line and boom you have a classic in the making.

I would love to see a remake of Skies of Arcadia, it was just slightly before it's time in terms of graphics and it could have looked sooooo much better than it did. It's got such fantastic work behind it that if they just gave it a face lift I think it would be a great addition to the current, underpopulated JRPG catalogue.

I'd like to see Timesplitters 2 remade as a downloadable game with online multiplayer, even if it came with no single player it would be worth it.

I'd love to see a remake or port of Final Fantasy 7, Parasite Eve, and Vagrant Saga. Especially since PS3 can't play the old games.
Do you mean, Vagrant Story? That would be a great remake. Maybe they could actually fix the dang risk meter on the second time around...

I'd like to see if they could pull off a new Gunstar Heroes, like as an XBL or PSN 9.99 download. Update the graphics, but leave the physics alone. I don't think it could be done any other way...

Games that need a sequel:

Bloodrayne 2
Legacy of Kane
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Dungeon Keeper 2
Warcraft 3 (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE WORLD OF WARCRAFT NON-CANON! I don't want to begin WC4 to a cutscene briefly describing how Illidan was bested by 25 random residents of Azeroth led by the mighty paladin Sir B==DLuv3r!)

Well let me explain to you something.

My N64 broke a long time ago and I don't have any of my games for it.

My gamecube barely still works, it's on life support, and my brother let one of his friends borrow my copy of Zelda: Master Quest that you could only get by pre-ordering the Wind Waker, and I never saw it again. (I still want to stab him for it.)

Ocarina is one of if not the best game of all time to me, and at this point a remake is my only hope of ever playing it again.
