Mass effect. I played through the first one. It's just a third person shooter with dialogue choices and an arbitrary "Good/Bad" rating that goes up and down depending on those choices. Speaking of which, I would also really loved to actually fly my damn ship. If privateer could do it in the 90s, what the hell's the problem today?

People care way to much about CoD and I don't just mean the CoD fanatics, no, I mean the people who won't shut up about how "dumb" it is or how much better BF3 is... I feel like I can't just "like" CoD and BF3 equally anymore and it makes me mad that I'm expected to take sides...

Assassin's Creed. I know a guy who adores the fucking games, so much so that I've affectionately named him an Assfag. The guy thinks that the third game will be distilled awesome and I can't describe how much I don't care. If my interest in Assassin's Creed could be measured in erection size then fucking SCP-682 locking lips with Professor McGonnagal would give me a bigger stiffy than Assassin's Bloody Creed.

Half-Life games I've played thu both of them though it was 8 years too late so that might be why i was underwhelmed.

Any Zelda game since it went 3D even the ocarina of time.

Actually now that I think of it pretty much any game series that started SNES or before and has continued on since, with a few exceptions, has been really awful. Example: Final Fantasy 3 was the last good one. The first person who says '6' is going to get a shot in the mouth because the fucking cartridge says 3 on it.

Bioshock, Half Life, Deus Ex, Battlefield, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and a few others but they are more specific.
The ones I listed cover all the games in the series(es)

Fallout, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy, Any Mario Game (Traditonal side-scrolling etc.), Any Legend of Zelda game... most of nintendo's products, really. I just sort've don't care about ANY of them, apart from Mario Kart DS / Mario Party...

Call of Duty (and it's clones) - Call of Duty after 4 got annoying and is now a complete stain upon gaming in gerneral. The fans of these games makes me want to club them over the head with a goddamn pipe...

Final Fantasy - after 6 (or 3 whatever you like to call it) the series went downhill. I hated 7 with a passion, oh a Spikey haired Emo guy fighting a villian with Mommy issues, joy

Skyrim - There are two diffrent stories that barely connect with eachother and there are a grand total of zero consequences

You know that game which you woke up every morning to play, that game which still gives you warm fuzzy feelings inside. Yeah I hate THAT game :p

I've got quite a few, but the biggest offender is... wait for it... Minecraft.

What. Is this POS. That all my friends won't shut up about. It looks like the biggest waste of 1600 MS points that you could have bought Dawnguard with in recent history.

I also don't see the point in the multiplayer of the COD series, and Treyarch's campaigns are boring outside of Black Ops 1.

I agree with the Assassins Creed thing, mostly because of their poor choices jumping around and the 'free running' controls are more like the auto-aim of platforming. The game isn't hard to play, and the added features in the new games didn't warrant a purchase to me.

The freerunning really did bother me because it's all auto pilot, just put the stick in a direction he hops, jumps and leaps for you. Compare that to say ...Flashback, Prince of Persia, Uncharted there's more sussing out where you need to go and if you jump in the wrong direction that can spell the end for you. In otherwords it's possible to screw up.

Assassins Creed was the first thing that came to mind for me. I've only played AC2 but I wasn't really sold on the series. The stealthy assassin gameplay was good, there's just too much BS in between, the story seems retarded and I didn't like any of the characters.

Wonderful environments for sure, but nothing else about the game really stuck out to me and I had no urge to play it again.

I never thought assassins creed was a very good stealth game either. Maybe I didn't play it as one, since I got chased a lot, the targets started talking with me more than I would have liked and sitting down on a bench in the street isn't really a good hiding spot...

Stealth games should be about remaining in the shadows, not walking through the streets in daylight.

Anyway, dragon age origins. I actually like the second one, but the first one is the generic fantasy story with a really predictable storyline.

Orcarina of Time. I just couldn't get into it since I played Twilight Princess (the better version) first.

Also Assassin's Creed due to it's rather bad control scheme and horrible writing. Seriously, I actually felt trolled by the ending cliff hanger.

Skyrim as well. Not that it was bad, it just lacked the structure needed to be compelling.

Just about any Mario game. A franchise that, at least recently, has done nothing but clone itself with minor gameplay alterations to pander to it's older fans. Also it's a travesty that the games are simpler (and were probably as easy to develop) as almost any XBLA or PSN title yet they retail at a AAA price tag.

At the moment, anything with zombies.

fuck zombies, fuck any zombie like derivative, and fuck games that have them as a main enemy. all the hate I've reserved for the vampire fad in the past, will now be reserved for zombies.

and of course anything call of duty or similar.

Nearly everything at this point. been a gamer since my first atari and somehow i've bottomed out. I just don't care anymore. I'm completely turned off to games, gaming culture and gamers in general. And I am A guy that used to have three closets full of home systems and games. 3. double.door.wide.closets. sold it all for a pittance, and I feel, i dunno, free somehow. Like my gaming fanaticism was holding me down. And i'm starting to see that it was. I get out more, I do more things I always said "oh, i'm gonna do that someday".

I still play City of Heroes, mainly due to the "friends" i've made there. But, it looks like I'm done. Strange days

Elder Scrolls. My God, I hate those games. Generic, bland setting and characters, glitchy as hell (in my experience at least), and most of the choice involved aren't really interesting moral choices, just choosing which of the lazily structured quest chains to do. Elder Scrolls just screams how not to make an RPG interesting to me.

Fallout's pretty good though.
