Games I haven't played? Well, having never owned a decent gaming PC, and the last time I owned a console that was current gen was when the PS1 was new...

I was thinking of getting an original xbox to game on the cheap with its exclusives(and PC ports)that I missed last generation and it got me thinking. After never playing Halo single player, never playing Jade Empire, never playing KOTOR, never playing Earthbound, never playing Mass Effect, Half Life, World of warcraft, Modern warfare, Final Fantasy X, psychonauts, whatever,I get strange looks and feel extremely out of the entire loop that is the collective gaming community. What, if you could choose one game, most alienates you from the community for never playing?

Well, Halo 1 at least. I've got Halo 2 and 3.

KOTOR, pretty much every Zelda game (I played one for a few minutes and went to play something else), WoW, MW2 for certain reasons, Counter Strike, any Resident Evil besides Umbrella Chronicles and 4 on Wii, any Elder Scrolls game.

Off subject, but since all these people haven't played whatever game, do they have the right to judge it? I know someone I go to college with and he talks shit on all these popular games (Call of Duty 4, Final Fantasy VII, etc), and says all these stupid stereotypes about them, yet has never played them.

I was talking to someone about this yesterday. I contended that after your childhood it is much harder to get into a game franchise because of your partisan support for whatever it is you like. In corelation for me it is much much harder to get into a game that I was opposed to due to my love/hate relationship with nintendo. I.e. Final Fantasy

Then again, a friend of mine the other day mentioned that he hated Deus Ex after the first level. Sucks to be him

WoW because I have a life! and basically any other PC and XBOX and nintendo game, i've always been a PS players
