All of the humble indie bundle games work on mac, so you should have a look at those. Other than that TF2 of course.

umm dude...those aren't the specs to my macbook. i am not running a mac os. i am capable of googling or searching steam. i believe i'm truly offended by this

Thats essentially identical to my laptop, and that integrated intel graphics chipsets whats really gonna mow down your options. You will absolutely not be able to play any triple-A titles released in the last few years on that, with the exception of Starcraft 2. Blizzard is very good about providing extensive downscaling in their graphics engine to accommodate some truly abysmal computers. It won't look like it does in the video's you watch but its totally playable. TF2 will run fine, as will Civ5, otherwise just go on steam and look around the mac games, jsut be absolutely sure you check the hardware reqs on anything before you buy it, without a standalone graphics card you will be unable to run probably about half of the available titles. Plenty of fun stuff will, you just have to work for it. Braid for example.Zack Alklazaris said:
Also, regarding Minecraft. The game runs perfectly fine on a Macbook with your specs until the most recent patch 1.8, when whatever video driver they've switched to is not supported on leopard. I don't know if it works with Lion or not, or if Notch has any plans to 'fix' it for those of us who don't fancy buying a new OS from Apple every other year. Minecraft will still work totally fine if (and only if) you back date it 1.7.3. Just a heads up.

Torchlight is a great game, but it may or may not run on your laptop. It crashes after a couple of minutes on mine, but i've heard of people with similar specs to yours and mine that can run it fine. Grab the demo first and see how well it works for you.Wuggy said:
