Topic...I just felt great and wanted to ask what games you've beaten in what sitting, or if not, whats your record time for a game. I'll start saying I beat Dead Space 2 yesterday in one sitting just to rub it in one of my teacher's face. A little bit over 6 hours.

I think the only game I've ever done in one sitting was the PC version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

No idea on how long it took.

I think I recall that I beat Starfox 64 on the alternate route in about an hour and ten minutes. Although it may have been two hours and ten minutes. Anyway, it wasn't very long. Although admittedly, I had played it a lot before, so I knew what was coming, which makes a lot of difference.

I was bored as hell and beat the Rugrats game on PS1 like 3 times in one day. Only took 3-4 hours to finish and you got to play as Reptar in the end :3

Excluding arcade games (i.e. Time Crisis 2 or After Burner Climax) and/or games that can only be beaten in one sitting if played in their original form (i.e. Starfox 64 and Sonic 2), the only games I've beaten in one sitting are Half-Life: Blue Shift and Ridge Racer: Type 4.

Blue Shift took me approximately 4 hours, give or take. RR:T4 takes 45 minutes to an hour, as long as you're not trying to unlock all of the cars in the game.

I've gone up 10 levels in one sitting in fallout 3.
Is that very hard? I've never played Fallout...
Depends. The first ten levels can go fast, if you know the right quests.

Considering that the level cap is 30 and reaching that can take anywhere from 50 to 120 hours...

I played through the entire Orange Box in one go when I bought it (not including TF2).

It was my first time playing HL2 and I was so blown away I just could not put it down.

BUT...

Fastest?? Portal obviously. Took around 2 hours.

I blasted through the Open Season game in 2 hours. All the minigames, all the unlockables. Shit game. My mom bought me that. That was the only game she ever bought me. Well, I guess i should be thankful she bought me the one for the right system. When I traded it in, i got about 3 cents.

I beat The Force Unleashed II in about 2 and a half hours.

I can also beat Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland 100% playing as Meta Knight in 56-58 minutes. I think my record as Kirby is a few minutes faster than that.

Resident Evil 4 in about one hour and thirty minutes(1Hr 30Mins).

Infinite Rocket Launcher and Typewriter makes me feel as if I were cheating.

50 to 120? I usually get to level 30 in around 30 hours, and i take my time with looting, recruiting and shooting.
I reached the level cap in New Vegas before i even got IN to New Vegas, about 20 hours in.
EDIT: Re-reading that sounds like i'm trying to act like i'm good at the game. It's just that that the level cap is way too short considering the amount of quests in the game. Anyways, my point was that 120 hours is waaaay too large an estimate for the amount of time it takes to get capped.

Anyways, i've done CoH, including Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valour, in one sitting.
I 100% completed Gun a couple of times on the GameCube too, and the Day of Reckoning wrestling games.
