I've sold lots of games at a loss; not because I wanted to, but because I wanted to eat that week and I'd been an idiot with my budget.

But out of my current batch of games? I'd probably sell Yakuza if I ever finished it. And The Guild for the PC. But I'm a hoarder by nature so... *turns into Golem* My precsssssioussssssss!

Wild Arms 4/XF for many reasons I don't feel like listing again and Mana Khemia,It's not horrid but the story is kiddy and I'm just that not big into alchemy systems as a main focus.

Every PSP game I own. I sold my PSP a while ago and the games have just been sitting on my shelf, lowering in value every day. I can't for the life of me find anyone who hasn't hacked their PSP, i'd be willing to sell them games for ridiculously cheap if I did.

...I don't understand...why wouldn't you just go ahead and sell a game that you want to sell? You know what I mean?
So like...why would you still own a game that you don't want? xD
No store in my area will buy any copy of bioshock 2. There are plenty of games out there that are so bad that no store will actually buy back a copy of. I use it as a coaster now and sometimes to throw at people.
Why don't you just sell it on something like Amazon or Ebay? You could probably get more money for it than you would if you did trade it in at a game shop.

Warcraft III and the first Medal of Honour, definitely.

Oh, and Aliens vs. Predator 2: Primal Hunt.

Bayonetta. Bayofrickingnetta.

I don't know why I bought it. Or why I had the idiocracy to buy it when it came out at full price. Not my type of game in any shape or form. I disliked pretty much everything about it.

I wish I had taken it back to the Gamestop I bought it from, but for whatever reason I didn't get back in until months later when the price had dropped by $30-$40. At that point I just couldn't be bothered to trade it in.

So I guess I don't really fit exactly into your specifications OP in that I didn't want to completely loose $40 by returning the game even though I hated it. As long as I still have it it's a reminder not to go out on a whim and buy games friends recommend without doing some research first.

Oh and I in no way mean to bash anyone that loves the game, it just wasn't for me... at all.

I'm pretty sure, given the system governing selling and trading in games, that any game you sell will be at a loss. No one will play top dollar for a used game that you can get at a retail store. Now, if you own a collector's item game--like my Suikoden II--then yes, you can sell it for more than you paid for it, but personally I think that's rather stupid.

That being said, there are four games that I sold at over a 50% loss. They are:

Medal of Honor: Vanguard
Street Fighter IV
H.A.W.X. 2
Bayonetta

Vanguard was such a letdown, and I HATED the other three. Street Fighter IV especially because the game cheats.

If it wasn't on Steam, I would maybe sell Crysis: Warhead, a glitchy, repetitive, and nonsensical mess that could only dream of being as good as the original Crysis (even though the original wasn't that great. That's how bad Crysis Warhead was.)Although there was one insanely badass level where you must stay aboard atop a moving train while being shot at by half the Korean army, so I might play that level again. So if I could sell everything on Crysis Warhead but that level, I would.

Also, I would definitely consider selling Black Ops (if I didn't get it on Steam, of course.)

Star Wars Obi-Wan, a crappy little hack n slash/platformer that may have been fun eight years ago, but with terrible voice acting, horrible level design, a camera that hates you, and melee combat that was later copied my nemesis Too Human, there's really no reason for me to keep it.
