I heavily agree with you. The Jak games I loved and Ratchet and Clank is my favourite game series of all time. (As you can tell by the avatar!)

Link to the Past on SNES
Chrono Trigger is pretty damn good if you can find it (don't get it on PS1)
Majora's Mask on 64 was great
Conker 64 pwns, but it's also kind of hard to find

I was thinking more along the lines of Sonic the Hedgehog, Road Rash, Altered Beast, and Vectorman. It really hurts seeing all you kids naming Playstation 1 and 2 titles as "games of old," makes me want to hit you with my walker.

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy - Very fun game - and it's free at filePlanet!
This game was criminally underrated for its time. There's little more satisfying than sneaking up on an unsuspecting guard and making his head explode as you drain his mental juice. Or ragdolling some dude into an incinerator. The ending pissed me off though.

C'mon, PS2 games? Really? Those are hardly 'old'.

The original Sonic series, the Capcom/Disney games (except for The Jungle Book. Blech.), Lemmings, you could check out the Back to the Future ones, too. I only have the third (wonderfully terrible), but the others would probably be fun, too. Lots of ones for the SNES/NES, the Atari 2600 is pretty cool, the N64 is always a favorite, the list could literaly go on for miles.

And, though not yet fully considered old, the GameCube has tons of games that would be good for walkthroughs. Just saying.

Should you decide to really write some, post the link. Free online walkthroughs are wayyy better than ones for twenty bucks that you'll only need once. 'Cause once you beat something the first time, it's kinda committed to memory, right? Or is that just me?
