Besides installing Windows 7 on a partition on your hard drive using Boot Camp? It's easy to do, I recommend doing it.

Anyway, Plants vs. Zombies (one of the best games of last year) is available for Mac. Anything Blizzard has made is as well (Starcraft, Diablo, etc.). Halo was ported to it. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is available free from the developer online for Mac. There's a freeware turn-based strategy game called Battle for Wesnoth that is surprisingly good. The Sims games are on Mac. I've heard good things about a game called Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

There are emulators too, but that's illegal.

EDIT: Also, search around the internet for freeware. Explore a bit. Mac has some amazing freeware, both in games and in other sorts of applications. If you look around, you'll find some really awesome stuff.

But if you want the same games everyone else is talking about on PC, you'll have to install Windows on it for most of them.

Dragon Age: Origins exists on Macs, as does Halo:CE, Call of Duty 4 and pretty much all games made by Blizzard.
