Games on your short list

So we all have a list. Those games that we are currently watching. Maybe you can only list 3 games or maybe you can list 16 games, but we all have a list. So I'm curious as to what's on your list and why.
Here's mine:

Star Wars: The Old Republic
I'm not a big MMO fan, but a long time ago I played the KOTOR games and thought how cool it would be to play a MMO based on that universe. Now, suddenly, it has materialized. From what I've seen of combat, classes, media, and the mechanics that Bioware has revealed, it looks pretty good. Only time will tell, but it is on my short list until they screw up or it is released.
Diablo 3
Admittedly, this is mostly on my list, because I have friends that love the series. And I'm more than willing to play it with them. Besides, from what I've seen, it looks pretty good. You know you want to hit a wall with a spell and cause it to collapse on a hoard of enemies, too.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
This game looks promising. I never played the original, but you'll have to forgive me while I salivate over the amazing visuals of this game. No game makes replacing your body parts with machines look sexier. I want to play Blade Runner, people!
inFamous 2
Did you play inFamous? You should. A sandbox with electrical powers. This promises to continue the story that I was waiting for. I can't wait to battle the Beast, zap foes, grind powerlines, and throw electric tornadoes in a New Orleans like city.

Okay, so I could go on forever, if I really wanted to. All I'm really waiting for on these and other games to go out and reserve them, is gameplay. I want to make sure that they play well, before I give up my hard earned money.

So Escapists. What's on your short list?

Hrm.. short list.. things that arent yet out? Uhhh... actually first time in a long time theres nothing im watching for.

I guess if absolutely pressed, Dragon age 2 and Deus Ex... but really im trying to play catchup on several games now.

Right now it's just MvC3 and Pokemon Black and White. I am keeping a minor eye out at Killzone 3 as well

Fallout: New Vegas
Portal 2... well, when it wasn't delayed into 2011.

That's about it, I only slightly pay attention to new stuff because I'm a lazy bastard.

Brink, I Am Alive, maybe RAGE. Oh, and War for Cybertron 2, but they haven't released anything about it yet. :c

Well, I'm cautiously optimistic about my list. Like I said, I'm waiting for the actual gameplay footage before I commit to any of those games. But I have high hopes. Though, I too have learned not to judge games or movies on initial impressions and more on concrete evidence. I'd only say that I feel one of those I listed is a safe bet. The others could easily screw up and lose my money before they are released.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - if the game lives up to the hype I'm expecting, it will be epic. If it doesn't it should still be a solid playthrough.

Mass Effect 3 - I've put so much time and effort into the first two that I can't NOT play this game.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn - Same reasons as Mass Effect 3.

Journey
Just watching the preview video for this made my heart ache. I'm really looking forward to it.
Deus Ex 3
Loved the crap out of DX1 and 2. The gameplay segments I've seen and the one demo showing the various ways to complete one of the missions, I'm pretty damn excited for this.
ME3/DA2/TOR
BioWare. End of Line.
Dungeon Siege 3
Didn't really like the first two games when I tried them, but it's being made by Obsidian Entertainment, and I've liked everything they've ever done. Color me enthused.
Dungeon Defenders
Not crazy about tower defense games, but it looks pretty cool and more RPG-oriented, also the dev team is crazy about the game, and poured a lot of love into it. I might wait for reviews before I snap it up though, depending on the price.

Those're the ones that I think at least once a week "Man, I'd like to get my hands on that.."

edit: I WOULD be excited about Atlus' Cathreine(?) game, but there's no confirmation its coming to America yet. Of course it will be, but as a rule I don't pay attention til I hear a solid release date Same again for Disgaea 4

Diablo 3, Splinter Cell HD Collection, Ico/SotC HD Collection and Dead Space 2 are what I'm looking forward the most at the moment. I Am Alive also looked quite intresting!

Right now it's pretty much just Mass Effect 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. My friends and I need something new to fight about.

Portal 2 - I loved Portal. And Portal 2 looks just as great, if not even prettier and more intriguing than the first.
Deux Ex: Human Revolution - Looks purely epic. An awesome setting, and a (hopefully good) prequel to one of the greatest games of all time.

I never even thought to compare it to that and yes even with that gameplay It still looks like it'll will be great.
