If there are games I would love to see a sequel of, it would be Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword and Enslaved. I loved those games, which is one of the reasons I've been so excited about DMC. I would love to see what they could do next with those 2 games and I feel that they're one of the most underrated developers this generation. Any game you wanna see a sequel to a game that was released this generation?

Ding ding.
Also The Walking Dead, but that seems like it'll be coming around sometime in the future anyway.

The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles maybe not direct sequels but definitely similar sort of games maybe a series although I suppose you could argue Xenoblade is sorta part of a series already.

Would like to see Marvel vs Capcom 4 where they actually remember to put Psylocke Rogue and Blanka in or at least Psylocke anyway.

K-ON houkago live needs a sequel now with loads more songs it should be easy for them do. This is my favourite rhythm action game ever and I have spent over 1000 hours on the damn thing over the last few years if there was a bigger better sequel well I would be sorted for a while.

Other than that I would like to see Soul Calibur 6 yes I know there have been two entries this console gen but 4 wasnt to great in the combat and online while 5 messed up on the characters and game modes (but had great combat and online) if they actually managed to distill the best bits from every Soul Calibur (and Soulblade/edge) game I reckon they would have one of if not the best 3d fighting game(s) ever made. Plus I am a sucker for anything Soul Calibur no other game release gets me as hype as an upcoming SC game in 6 they should drop the guest characters though they sour the package and the create a character is only a few steps away from greatness now.

Yup.

All they need to do is make a longer game, tweak the weapon level up system a bit and it'd be set.

"Final Fantasy XIII!"

-Said nobody EVER

OT: Vanquish would be a good place to start. Valkyria Chronicles deserved a proper sequel and never got one.

The Last Story
I'd agree with this. Like a series, akin to Final Fantasy. Which probably isn't too far out of reach when you consider the lead guy for The Last Story was also the lead for Final Fantasy. Not to mention Nobuo Uematsu did The Last Story's music, whom also did Final Fantasy's music. Also let's not neglect the similarities between the title's theme, Final Fantasy and Last Story.

Here's to hoping they make a series out of The Last Story. :D

I second the opinion for Marvel vs Capcom 4. I loved 3 in fact it's on of my favorite fighting games of all time. My only issue with it is how there were so many characters who would have been great for the roster who weren't added. The fact that both Marvel and Capcom have expanded upon their character rosters only makes this issue more mind boggling.

First answer is the right answer. Vanquish. Just Vanquish.

And perhaps Bulletstorm.

Mirror's Edge, Enslaved, Bayonetta (WiiU is next gen), RDR, Bad Company 2, Just Cause 2 are all worthy of a sequel.

Holy shit, I didn't even notice that!

Mirror's Edge is definitely sequel-worthy. I'm tired of all the rumors about a sequel being made but then being cancelled and being made and then being cancelled. I want a concrete announcement. :{

I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Castle Crashers. Have some fun with it. New knights, new classes, all that good stuff. It's a pretty decent game to just play with some friends on the couch.

If we're allowed to count iOS games, I'm going to say Squids because that game is freakin' amazing. Of course Squids already got a sequel with Squids: Wild West, supposedly they're getting a third one, and both games still get plenty of upgrades.

But honestly...hmm...I dunno, I mean most of the games I liked this either gen already have sequels or don't really need sequels.

I'd like to see Pokemon Conquest explored upon a bit more. There was potential there, but they need to fix a LOT before they release another title.

Sequel to DMC, that follows the canon of the original series aka DMC5. I'm sorry but the new DMC was the most bland game, with the most bland story, and the most bland ending I have ever seen/played. Really unworthy of a direct sequel, DMC4 though...

Its a shame a Heavenly Sword 2 wasn't made to take DMC's place.

Also Just Cause 2, why? Just Cause!..... had to make the joke...

Madden could definitely use another sequel. I'd also love to see a L.A. Noire sequel, with the interrogation techniques fleshed out and a couple tweaks here and there...that would be a fantastic game. I know it probably won't happen, but I'd like to see a Strangehold sequel. The "John Woo directing a game" approach seemed so badass until it ended up being repetitive and having PS2 or earlier mission structure and gameplay. Throw more money at it this time, I guess.

Dragon Age: Origins.

Also Fallout: New Vegas. I wish Obsidian and Bethesda would both continue to develop games for the series.

I would love to see more games set in the world of Dishonored. They seemed to go to great lengths fleshing out certain parts of the lore, such as The Abbey of the Everyman, but used so little of it.

Mirror's Edge sequel would be interesting to see. Clean up the controls, either improve upon or toss away the combat, and make the story less shitty and then we'll have a game.

Although technically not a "current gen title" (since it's roots are in the PS2), I would like to see a Ratchet and Clank game in the Future format (I would prefer it, but they don't NEED to continue directly from ACIT). The Future games held a quirky-yet-dramatic plot quite well despite the franchise's history with purely light-hearted, episodic kind of games on the PS2. What I DON'T want to see are games that cater to the mutliplayer and toss singleplayer in the bin, realize they need it to fool the old solo fans, and barely dust it off.

Other than that then Walking Dead for sure, but that's already confirmed.
