Really loved the game and got really excited when it ended on a cliff hanger(iirc). When I heard the studio had gotten shut down I sobbed a little. A sequel with better stealth and less racing would've been sweet. D:

OT: Vanquish would be a good place to start. Valkyria Chronicles deserved a proper sequel and never got one.
I'm pretty sure Valkyria Chronicles is already upto it's third game.
It is, but 2 was a PSP game and 3 is probably never going to get localized.

I'd like to see sequels to Anarchy Reigns and Gravity Rush. Sadly, Anarchy Reigns was published by Sega and Sega is retarded, we'll likely never see another. It's too bad to, there's a lot of great ideas and characters in that game which, with a little polishing, could make the ground-work for a fantastic action/beat-em-up title if they shifted focus from the multi-player to the campaign.

Oh, and Asura's Wrath. That game is insane and if there was a bit more "game" between the completely over-the-top cut-scenes, it could be incredible.

They need to just make a Dishonoured universe game with the Skyrim engine.

Money will grow wings, fly out of peoples' wallets and straight into Betheda's bank account.

Oh, it will require a mission where you spend time on a whaling vessel.

Since most of mine have already been said I'll say Kingdoms of Amalur. A single player sequel, not the MMO that they wanted to make. I honestly don't really care for MMOs.

I really liked the game, even if it did have quite a few flaws. I think a sequel would be pretty well received, especially since there's plenty of lore and world available to work with.

I was actually kind disappointed to hear about 38 studios closing down. I don't really care about the politics behind it I just want an Amalur sequel dammit!

I'm truly shocked (but happily so) to see I'm ninja'd on this. I feel your pain.

A sequel involving Sean tracking the black market traitor to a city further behind the front lines, like Vienna or Casablanca would have been amazing. Just let us cut loose a bit more with armoured vehicles, and fly a Stuka and Messerchmitt or two- and you have a perfect game.

Dragon Age: Origins.
I was gonna say something about Dragon Age 2...but I think I know what you mean. A sequel that follows the Warden once again and maybe shows what happened to Morrigan and other other guys not mentioned in Dragon Age 2?
Or you're just pretending DA2 didn't exist. Which is fine.

Also, I support the idea of a Dishonored sequel, only bigger.

First answer is the right answer. Vanquish. Just Vanquish.

And perhaps Bulletstorm.
Maybe a better story in vanquish 2 as well :p Although it did have good moments in it. I can't believe they didnt stick sam into anarchy reigns, his jet-suit demanded it!

Also just cause 3 please. Still probably the most fun i've had in a sandbox game. Screw realism, more grapple-based shenanigans!!!

I'd love to see more of Firaxis's XCOM. The game in itself was awesome, but I feel that there's a ton of potential for improvement of the game's mechanics. Like perhaps larger squad sizes, more weapon variety, more alien species's, ect. Basically, MORE OF EVERYTHING! Any theoretical sequel to this game has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

Hmmm...I'm half and half. As much as I am waiting for the sequel to Mirror's Edge, some games, like Mirror's Edge, I wish the story had been much more conclusive. Too many games come out now with the developers planning to make a sequel or trilogy (Namely a trilogy). I want more developers to make really good one off games.

I've heard tell of Atlus wanting to make a franchise out of Persona fighting games. Granted how much fun I had with Arena, I'd be all for it.

The World Ends With You DEFINITELY needs a sequel... in the same way Squeenix needs more *consistently* high quality 1st party RPG franchises. I'm sure for those people who enjoyed playing in the FF XIII universe twice, soon to be three times, that was all well and dandy. Personally, I'd like to tear up some noise with psyches again.

I'd love a sequel or spiritual successor to Mirror's Edge that focused more on the free running and less on the combat, maybe with better cutscenes too!

Only other one I can think of now is a sequel/spiritual successor to Alpha Protocol. Game had an amazing and complex story and a great take on in game interactive dialogue. To see a game in the same vein with more polish would make me a happy sheep :3

I have to agree with that a few others have already said: Dishonored.

Dishonored was good, but a sequel built upon its foundation and expanded accordingly has the potential to be genuinely great.

I will maintain that Dragon Age Origins deserves a PROPER sequel, with the Warden.

That being said there are a ton of games i'd love to see get a sequel that just seem to have entered gaming limbo.

Rage. Granted the first one wasn't great but I think there is "something" there and maybe a sequel would improve on it.

WET. I actually really enjoyed WET (plus I like Eliza Dushku so her voicing the main character didn't hurt) and would love to see it get a sequel.

Kingdoms of Amalur. Not much chance of it happening with the studio closing down but it was a fantastic game with a ton of potential to do more.

Alpha Protocol. The story and dialogue system are fantastic in that game and a sequel could only improve on it's down points.

It probably won't happen (due to the Studio being a dried dead husk at this point) but I would really like a Sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur, if nothing else a game that is similar. It was a really great game with an interesting world. It was just so freaking easy. The world was also just a bit to big for how small the variation in the quests and enemies were.

Also, after looking over other peoples recommendations I have to agree with Dishonored and Mirror's Edge.

Mirror's Edge. It's unique, and with some polish it could be awesome.

Other than that, nothing.

Xenoblade Chronicle 2!

Ok at the end of the game is more or less ended peacefully so another sequel could ruin it. I just want another rpg game with a vast exploring world, saving anytime and anywhere and etc!
