What old game would you like to see a modern remake done of, personally i would LOVE to see Elite 2, privateer 2 or Tie Fighter remakes done.

Dark Cloud. Actually, Scratch that, Dark Chronicle.

The sequel is much more colourful, and I'm sure the lords of HD would make that game achieve deity status, considering it was flawless anyway, and was graphically stunning.

Wait...you don't agree?

You just sit tight. I'm coming for you.

I would love to see Star wars pod racer remade. It was a great game that combined "family" racers with "realistic" ones dispite being in a fictional racer.

Future Cop: LAPD, that game is awesome!

A bit of me still holds out for a FF7 remake or FF8 I'm not fussed, which ever's easier.

I'd love a FFVI remake with increased difficulty. They've already re-made III and IV for the DS so I want mah VI!
You'll have to wait for the 3DS for that. :p

GEMFIRE (known in Japan as "Royal Blood")

It was an early-90s Koei strategy simulation game on the NES, SNES, DOS, and Sega Genesis. It was like Romance of the Three Kingdoms only in a completely fictional medieval fantasy setting.

Genesis version: Standard 16-bit fare for visuals and audio on the system. NO loading times!
SNES version: Slightly better graphics & sound, excessive loading times.
NES version: Inferior graphics & sound, excessive loading times.
DOS Version: Better than NES, worse than the others, and this is the original version.

There were sequels of it that never made it outside of Japan, I'd love to see a new installment for Windows or PS3. Would be a nice break from all the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games they keep churning out.

Since LittleBigPlanet has breathed new life into the do-it-yourself concept, I'd hold up Kula World as the perfect candidate for an update on a modern console. It wouldn't even be that hard to put a level editor together since the game as a grid layout and wouldn't need to rely on size or proportion.

System Shock. I've played BioShock and want to see where it all started. What I don't want is to have to dig up and breathe life into an old computer I'll probably do nothing else with.

Arena - that game is literally unplayable, but it actually looked pretty fun.
Damnit, ninja'd. Or Daggerfall, but with the rest of Tamriel. 'Cos Daggerfall had the most elements to it.

Hmmm.... Maybe 2.5D editions of Matt Thorson's games (jumper, dim, an untitled story) would be pretty interesting. And also quite disorientating.
