So I am shown a link to this spongebob flash game on the show's site. My friend tells me that it will rip my balls off. I think to myself "well this shit looks easy, its SPONGEBOB". And give it a whirl.

I couldn't even pass the first level, don't let this game trick you, its a beast. I swear the boat changes its specs every time you restart, its trolling me.

Discussion: What game have you played recently was harder than it looked, and stomped on your confidence as a gamer? A retail game example I can give is Ninja Gaiden for the NES. The first levels are okay, then it just goes "fuck you" to your achievement and makes you its whore.

Any kids game has this deceptive edge to it, there have been many times I thought I am going to blitz this only to be stuck 5 mins in.

How kids are meant to be able to do them is beyond me, they seem to though.

The mini games from NHM2 were really difficult. Especially the useful ones, like training.
