FUCKING ICE LEVEL AND UNDERWATER LEVEL!

Freezeezy Peak and Clanker's Cavern? Yeah they were pretty solid, especially freeing Clanker without drowning, that bubble producing fish down there was of little help. And Freezeezy? It's those fucking snowmen, right? I hate those sons of bitches and their smug laughs.

OT: Siren Blood Curse

I didn't find Clanker's Cavern that difficult, however the snowmen are a whole other story.
On a side note my favourite level from Banjo and Kazooie has to be Tic Toc Wood.

Click Clock Woods was a *****. The 4 seasons and that huge ass tree. Ugh I never beat it legitimately to this day.

The last chapter of The Simpsons: Hit and Run. Bart's second chapter too. In fact, the whole game after about the third level was fucking ridiculous for a GTA parody. You couldn't die and yet it was harder than any GTA game. Da fuck?

Good lord that level was confusing. Even the giant industrial level in tooie was easier to figure out that that. (the one with about 7 stories and nooks everywhere)
And trying to get all the notes on tic toc? Seething rage... Oh yes, I HATED that level...
On a side note, I would never have beaten gruntilda from the first game without liberal use of my emulator's quicksave. It's completely impossible and if you beat it legit you're a god damn masochist is all I'll say! The jinjonator part... *shudders*

*giggles* Did that fight properly on the 64 took a week but did it. Getting Clanker up or the races were the hardest parts in my opinion.

The last race with canary mary made me wonder if Rare had a stake in autofire controllers. 89 jiggies in Tooie, couldn't beat a god damn yellow bird woman in a race!

Mass Effect... It's so insanely hard... maybe because I'm used to good third person combat systems. Seriously, it's atrocious. I'm out of medi-gel and I don't know where to buy any... plus my teammates will run headfirst into battle and get destroyed. It's too hard... I just can't do it.

Dragon Age raped me on normal. But that's because I didn't think tactical.

NO GAME but Dragon Age have forced me to think strategy at Normal level, I swear! Ever!

i found Dragon Age to be quite challenging on Normal as it does force you to use your characters more strategically than the standard western RPG.

i never beat the high dragon once (without cheating -- PC FTW!) and it took me 4 or 5 attempts to bring down the arch-demon.

Kids games for the NES and SNES are frustrating as hell. Home Alone 2 for instance. I couldn't get past the second level. Harry and Marv hadn't even shown up yet!

The ice level? Really? Was it the snowmen? I can understand the underwater level because Banjo takes reeeally small breaths and drowning was commonplace but I found the ice level to be a breeze.

The Anno series kicked my ass. About halfway through every game, I would start realizing I was really deep in the red and that I needed to pull up before bankruptcy, except everything I did to try to pull up put me deeper into the red. Just because a game is slow-paced and casual doesn't mean it can't be hard as all hell.
