I've got: Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 and PC,
Borderlands on PC and PS3,
Deus Ex on PC and PS2,
GTA 4 on PC and PS3,
and Oblivion on PS3 and PC.

And all of those games deserve it.

Everytime I see a copy of Shadow of the Colossus for PS2 I get tempted to buy it.
I havn't even finished the game, but I know that it is:

a) somewhat rare
b) highly sought after
c) (due to a and b) collectible

I'm a shameless collector of games, and so far I have 3 copies in varying conditions. I paid $80 for the first one (but it was in a buy 2 get 1 free deal), less than $20 for the second (I don't know what they were thinking, but apparently some daft ***** had decided not to buy it because it was a present and she felt her son would want a new copy, I bet he hates her guts now) and finally $30-$40 for the last one, cuz I knew it was worth more than that.

Of course none of that can beat the 1 copy of Ico that I own. Which I bought for $7, obviously Cash Converters didn't do their research.

GTA 4 (360, Steam)
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (PS2, Steam)
Prince of Persia (360, Steam) (Shut up, I like that game)
Fallout 3 (360, Steam)
Super Meat Boy (360, Humble Indie Bundle)
Braid (360, Humble Indie Bundle)
Psychonauts (PS2, Steam)

I guess my brain is like, "Why would you want to do all that work of putting a disk in the tray, when you could just download it and play whenever you want? Also, the games will look better." How can I argue when it's being so logical?

Mass Effect 1, Alien Extinction, Jade Empire and Breakdown, that last one was enough of an awesome game I bought it several times, but that was mostly because where I was it was eventually priced at $2.

Red Dead Redemption.
I originally had it pre-ordered on the PS3, got home and played it for 20 minutes then my console died.

Got it two week later on the Xbox, got 100% then when I bought my new PS3 I got 100% on that as well.
It's crazy you mentioned that, because I literally just got done tracking the order of Red Dead Redemption from Amazon that I bought again.

So yeah, there's that game, there's Assassin's Creed 2, and I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 on steam.

Mass Effect 2. First on PS3, second on Steam. My computer had the specs required, and there was a deal, so I figured why not?
And that is how I found out my computer was a monster truck of fuck.
Although it ran ME2 a hell of a lot better then ME1. ME1 was a hideous powerpoint presentation.

I recall that FF12 was the only game I bought twice. Great game and it only cost me 20 dollars. well 20 x 2. So 40.

Fallout 3.

First on the PC in 2008. Then the GOTY edition on PS3 in 2011. I'll probably buy it again on Steam in the future. So that'd be three times.

I also bought Oblivion twice. First on PC in 2006. Then the GOTY in 2009 something, also on PC. Will probably also buy it on Steam in the future, so that'd also be 3 times.

I I have three versions of Cave Story, but one of them is the freeware original, so I only "own" it twice, one is the DS e-shop version and one is the updated release on steam because you can never have to much Cave Story. I also felt compelled to buy the XBLA port of Banjo-tooie, despite owning the original cartridge version, mostly as a backup because N64 games aren't known for their long lifespans.

Parasite Eve. Discovered it in 2009, bought it for $90 at an independent game-trading store... Sold it back for $50 because I needed the cash... Then bought it back for $80 (I know, I'm a total sucker) a few months later... Then when it became available for just $6 on the Playstation Network I promptly facepalmed, then headdesked several times... And then I bought it again.

Blaghhh.

I bought Mass Effect 1 and 2 twice (X-Box and PC), The Witcher 2 on PC twice just to help support CD Projekt Red for being an awesome developer, Portal 2 for the X-Box 360 and PS3. I bought the PS3 version to get the free copy of the PC version.

ChronoTrigger.

It's the only game I've bought twice. Once on the snes, and once on the PS1. I may even buy it a third time on the DS because it's such a great game.

In the future, I may get Okami for the Wii, and Lufia 2 for the DS. I already own both of those, and I haven't decided yet if either are worth a double purchase.

So far i've only bought Star wars battlefront 2 twice (ps2 and steam) cheap and really wanted to play it again.

Then finally Oblivion twice for the 360 since the first one broke most likely because of the friend I lent it to. Never lending my elder scrolls again. Then I got the second one with the shivering isles.

Oblivion, Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, Rome Total War and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

To be fair I had legit reasons for buying them all again, (wanted mods for Oblivion, wanted to replay MEs on PC after I sold my Xbox and wanted to play RTW and GTA:SA in the US after I moved) it's not like I just had so much money I decided to buy them twice :p
