I love playing White Knight Chronicles but it's not a game I feel is very fun to watch. Actually it's probably boring to watch.

So what games are fun but aren't fun to watch.

My roommate's girlfriend argues that Final Fantasy 10 isn't fun to watch... Can totally see why...

Easily Oblivion or STALKER Call of Pripyat. The latter was me basically messing around in my inventory trying to organize weight for most of the game until I finally got the right kind of gear.

Halo and Oblivion. I didn't play these games for years because they were the most boring games to watch, especially when your roommate runs around trying to flip a Warthog. Gah!!!

Warhammer 40k. Mostly because it's difficult to tell what's going on if you're not paying attention to every last bit of info flying around, which is a lot harder if you're just watching...

Metal Gear Solid 4

Ohhhhh snap!

[sub]Interestingly enough, I hear that the MGS movie is interrupted periodically by 2 hour gameplay segments.[/sub]

Pretty much any RPG could fall under this category. When watching cut-scenes or gameplay from most RPGs, it is quick to turn a lot of onlookers off. Until they get their hands on the controller, they will not be as interested as say a more ascetically pleasing game (FPSs and Fighting games) where matches can be very fun to watch.

i'm presuming you're talking about the boardgame. i can see why it would be hard for an outsider to dee it, but I love watching games. I can't afford much of an army, since Eldar are expensive.

Oblivion and Minecraft. Oblivion because for most of the time you're just walking, soaking up the scenery. Minecraft because only you have the perfect picture in your head of the scrotum-shaped palace.

Minecraft and Starcraft 2. Those are the only ones I can justify from personal experience, but I'm willing to bet that most RTS and RPG's apply.

It might be because i only got into the hobby a couple of months ago and in that time have only played one or two games myself...

Any game ever invented.

I hate watching (apart from football ... thats the proper football not that "American football" that they play with their hands so is not football at all) any game.

I prefer to be playing.

It's the one thing I don't understand about the tournaments some games have, like Starcraft. I can understand people enjoy playing them but going to watch other people play? Seems a bit strange to me.

Then again i'm a very impatient spectator. I'd rather be getting stuck into the action myself than watching other people doing it.
