I've noticed that when I am playing games, they become less interesting the closer I get to the end. The game starts out interesting, but can't hold my attention long enough. This is happening a lot more than in the past.
For example I have tried to complete Assassin's Creed II but it's just more of the same through out the game. I also still need to complete Fallout: New Vegas. I've already put many hours into the game. But I am at a stage where I have become a demi-god and there are no challenges left, while I still have to complete the story. There isn't enough of a pull to make me play till the end to see how it all unfolds. I guess if a game has a deep and intriguing story I want to stick with it till the end (except if the gameplay is so sucky it ain't worth it). But games with good (implemented) stories are rare nowadays.
So, what's your take on this? Do you have the same problem? And what makes you wanna complete the game?
