I'm usually pretty good with this. However, I'd choose Two Worlds. There had to be something that aggravated me to quit that early on. Maybe because I realised everything was finite... I found it depressing.

Oblivion after the first bit when you realise the only good part of the game was Patrick Stewart.
You know, they really should have made him a ghost that follows you around dispensing wisdom. Oh sure, it's annoying, but you'll forgive him because he's Patrick Stewart. Also, imagine the banter, it would be worth it.
Fuck that would of been helpful to me. Oh another game is Legacy of Kain for ps2. I FUCKING (yep in bold) HATE that game. You don't get any hint as to where to go so you spend your time wandering around until you accidently find the place you're supposed to go to. Fuck that shit.

btw OP, this is just a FYI, I've been playing MW2 for quite some time, and all I can say, is that only [wherever you are] have that many hackers, the gaming community down here is quite clean, the only hackers I've seen in this community are only on Counter Strike (yeah, just wanted to brag a little ^.^)
Am in England but usually only ever hear other europeans on mics. I havent played CS in a long time but do remember the occasional hacker appearing, at least there it was possible to votekick/ban or have an admin remove them instead of having to leave every game you get put into.

Your community may be clean for now but hacks spread!
Yep, exactly and this is one of the main reasons that MW2 isn't all that great. Vote kick and admins are essential in any online fps, not to mention dedicated servers or a decent number of players or mods.

If you ask me, that game was unsaveable.

Dead Rising - I just loved it so much and played it so long that I can't enjoy it anymore. There is nothing left to do that I haven't done and I have all the achievements.
ah, yes. that lovely adventure that overstayed it's welcome in my heart.

also enchanted arms. HORRIBLE story and gameplay. it looked very nice, but i just couldn't handle it after a few hours

I can agree as I preferred Morrowind, but I think it's a step in the right direction.

At least the game is easy to code unofficial patches, mods and installments for. Wait, that's the PC that does that... why doesn't the Xbox 360 or PS3 get the same treatment? They have the means for it. Eh, that's a rant for another time.

Halo 3 because everytime I got all the acheivements and the cool armour they brought out more a couple of weeks later and I got pissed off. Plus, I seemed to be meeting more ignorant american people who think racism is fun and such, and that made the game pritty unplayable -.-

Timesplitters 2.

It's aiming is godawful, and it has nothing to do with the fact its on a console, Free Radical just made a new and very bad move when making the aiming.

There's no health restoration in the levels. Lose health and you never gain it back.

No hand models, gun just float in the corner.

No reload animation (except for the shotguns), the gun just tilts off the screen and it comes back up.

I'm so happy Future Perfect fixed all the problems.
I'm glad that Timesplitters is getting some recognition, considering that FP was my life for about two years.

I agree. Gamespot has Timesplitters 2 a good .6 above Future Perfect, and that never made sense to me. Cortez was an unrelatable mute, the missions were mostly unrelated, and the multiplayer was only fun when using splitscreen. Future Perfect fixed all of these problems by making Cortez the most amazing character in any video game I've ever played, having a comprehensive plot along with hilarious writing, and Xbox Live compatibility. It's a damn shame that it's so underrated.

The plot twist of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.
Essentially, it boils down to the entire universe of the protagonists being an MMO for some 4th dimension beings.

I put immediately put the game down and never looked back.

All RTS games now that I've played Men of War and seen what RTS games can be.
Oblivion's also good when you're just out exploring, but the dialogue assignment and AI in general was seriously screwed up. The environment was immersive but the AI ripped you out of it, so the only way to enjoy it was to avoid people most of the time.

Anything that has horrible controls. I'm slowly beginning to research which games are made for PC and which are ported over from console, as I am beginning to become quite picky. I'd rather know before I buy, than when I'm struggling to fight some baddy and the game asks you to contort your left hand over and around itself just to keep up...

I'm thinking of Psychonauts in particular. Wonderful game, lots of fun, but OH the controls!

I can't take Fallout 3 seriously anymore after watching an LP on Twenty Sided.com [http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=7926] that ripped a lot of holes in the game.

Knights of the Old Republic II, the first part from Peragus until leaving Telos is so boring that it took me another playthrough after the first to not go so bored I quit in the middle of it. After that the game picks up a bit, but it's still glitchy (PC version at least) as hell.
Try the Restoration Mod

Diablo 2. Such a good game but played it to death. Every year I reinstall the game and make a new character only to hit myself because I've played it to death so many times. That being said I'm looking forward to Diablo 3.

I disagree with you, good sir. To me, the environment was boring, samey, and not at all immersive. I agree with you on the AI and dialogue though.

Final Fantasy X-2. Just...yeah. Pretty much after struggling through the opening cinematic, the first five minutes are all you need to hate that game. I still want to beat that game at some point, torturous or not.

Yeah, I did it this time when I played through it. I think that at least helped some of the bugs, and it was interesting, but still there's some annoying glitches.

Fallout 3 on the ps3, as I was nearing level 29 and about to start playing the last of the the expansions, I decided to tie up some loose ends at Tenpenny tower during which the game bugged up and wouldn't register that I had completed the quest there. When I tried to leave the area the game kept on freezing rendering the game LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE and I didn't want to revert to a different save.
