Someone needs to get out there, gobble up that old Microprose licence Master of Magic, and get a sequel in the works stat. Any turn-based game that can warm my frosty, action-oriented heart and still to this date remain my favorite PC game in spite of that hurdle deserves a full-on revival of epic proportions.
My Chaos-Channeled Halfling Slingers will rip whatever pesky other underrated game you send at them to shreds. There is no other option, only MoM.
Someone who has actually played the game! Yes!
It's definitely one of my all-time favorite games, and that says a lot since I do love my graphics and action. The game was simply that good, and I would love to see a sequel to it. While this may have just been a dumb rumor, I did hear that MoM2 was hinging on the success of MOO3 for investors, which flopped. In retrospect, I don't think anyone out there could make a sequel to MoM and do a good enough job on it, so perhaps it's better we're left with our fond memories and no one shits all over it.
... Then again, all they have to do is just copy the gameplay over exactly and update the graphics and I'd pay 50 bucks for it...
