It's already been mentioned, but Vangrant Story would be good game for sequal-isation.

Operation Flashpoint already has a sequel of sorts - ArmedA / Armed Assault - but is also getting a sequel from Codemasters later on.

I've always thought that Syndicate and X-Com would make good MMO fodder.

Alter Ego (1986).
It was a controversial game of the DOS days, and I'd love to see an up-to date sequel, which in my opinion would be like Princess Maker 2, mating with Oblivion (possibly GTA IV as a grandparent).
Orgasmic? Insane?
Indeed.

Someone needs to get out there, gobble up that old Microprose licence Master of Magic, and get a sequel in the works stat. Any turn-based game that can warm my frosty, action-oriented heart and still to this date remain my favorite PC game in spite of that hurdle deserves a full-on revival of epic proportions.

My Chaos-Channeled Halfling Slingers will rip whatever pesky other underrated game you send at them to shreds. There is no other option, only MoM.
Someone who has actually played the game! Yes!

It's definitely one of my all-time favorite games, and that says a lot since I do love my graphics and action. The game was simply that good, and I would love to see a sequel to it. While this may have just been a dumb rumor, I did hear that MoM2 was hinging on the success of MOO3 for investors, which flopped. In retrospect, I don't think anyone out there could make a sequel to MoM and do a good enough job on it, so perhaps it's better we're left with our fond memories and no one shits all over it.

... Then again, all they have to do is just copy the gameplay over exactly and update the graphics and I'd pay 50 bucks for it...

One's Listed I Agree with:
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
Okami

Mine:
Shadow of the Colossus
Downhill Domination
Threads of Fate
There actually was a Dewprism 2, but it never left Japan, which makes me sad ;_;
I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed ToF, though.

Battletoads and Clay Fighter both need modern sequels, and of course I completely agree about adventure game series.

Escape Velocity: Nova could use a sequel... even though it's the third installment in the Escape Velocity series and I hope it'll be an online sequel.

Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil are the most worthy in my opinion.

Spore deserves a sequel and the first one isn't even relased yet.

A sequel to Warzone 2100 or Theme Hospital would be nice,, but what I REALLY want is a sequel to Herzog Zwei.

I'm also going to nominate a new Star Control [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Control] game be considered as well. A lot of time was spent playing these. :) Also the old Epic classic, Solar Winds.

I do agree with those who wish for new Ascendancy, Master of Magic, and Star Control games, all superlatively addictive.

But what about Dungeon Keeper / Dungeon Keeper 2? Dang those were fun.
