F-Zero GX come to my mind. Seriously that game was speedy and hell to the point that I keep crashing in this track due to the way it twist and turn and the marking on the track it made my mind go derp.
That reminds me a bit of Twisted Metal. I always have more fun picking the motorcyle because he's faster and his low amount of health means hit and run is usually your best offense.Aeshi said:For me it's World of Tanks, probably owing to my habit of favouring the faster Scouting & Flanking tanks (the Pz.I C in particular)
Whether it's hiding in cover, spotting enemy tanks for my team, knowing that any moment I might be spotted myself and ending up having to run from a hailstorm of shells...
...Or charging out of cover, gunning down an enemy tank, drifting behind a 2nd one, watching said 2nd enemy lose half his health from friendly fire from his over-eager allies, finishing the job and then racing back out of sight before they can reposition.
Sometimes after a particularly intense match I have to just quit the game and relax a bit because I feel like any more excitement would make my heart burst through my ribcage.
Ditto with Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, that's one game where I constantly have to move and smash in every mission so much so that I get physically sore every time I play it.FPLOON said:The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction
Here you are, smashing shit up like you own the place... Next thing you know, the military's trying to shoot you down and kill you where you stand... Once they seem like they have you on the ropes, you pull out the big guns... "HULK SMASH!" KABOOM!! Shockwaves kill off any military personal surrounding you and you go back to smashing more shit like you own the place... The cycle continues...
Other than that, the Dance Dance Revolution can be summed up as "keep up with the beat or fail trying" the higher the difficulty is... and I love this series for it... Sure, you can press a button really fast and/or react almost instinctually, but can your entire body move as fast or react as instinctually as your fingers? That, to me, is gaming adrenalin at its finest... unless you don't like rhythm-based games in general, I guess...
I can second this; TF2 gives me a rush like no other because I'm SO ready to go and get shit done and playing as the Scout makes me feel like the Flash and everything else is just SO SLOW.bartholen said:Team Fortress 2, for all the up to 60 minutes I can play it at a time before quitting because of the other players being retardedly incompetent. Especially Capture the Flag, when you manage to get the flag out of the enemy's side and into no man's land is quite the feels. I tend to play as Scout, which only strengthens the tension when you're so weak yet so mobile.
