Dawn of War II

Every time I want to progress the storyline I feel compelled to defend my assets from anything and everything for 3 and a half hours
I thought that was DoW1?
My vote goes to Ninja Gaiden 2. Started on Mentor difficulty yesterday, and it took me 30 minutes to survive the first battle. Incendiary shuriken claw ninjas with only the first level DS is murder. Need to get my guillotine throw skills in hand.

GTA 4, it just loves to throw bullshit at me, like the wierd invisible "bumps" everywhere that makes your motorcycle fly retardedly through the air, and the retardedly slow and clumsy on foot controls.

Call of Duty, but I can't stop playing it.

Also, Mario Kart... I just hate that one, but play it whenever everyone else wants to.

By far Heavenly Guardian for the Wii is on that list. The versions for the other consoles are far beyond hate because the control scheme is impossible, the Wii version is the only playable one. The jist of it is, "Hey, you beat all six NintendoHard levels! Congrads! You won! Or.. Did you, oh no! You didn't win at all! ATTEMPT 2!" Then you go through the first level all over again, which was hard to begin with, but now every time you hit an enemy, it shoots things at you in all directions. Oh joy.

Spore right now hates me. Something about going into an attack and having the game lock up on me so I can't do anything. And when I'm able to do something again, I find that they only let me go after my ship was blown to pieces. I need a better video card on this machine.

I second Ninja Gaiden (2). That game just WANTS you to fail, and laughs in your face when you do so, it's a coldharted SM mistress.

But ofcourse there is always Super Mario Land, with the biggest kick in the balls in the entire history of gaming. O I'm sorry, I just went almost literally through HELL and had to kill a gigantic dragon, and now YOU little fracking shroom are telling me that you're sorry that the princess is in another castle....*rage builds up, shenanigans involving gruesome gore ensue*

Yeah i remember my first time dealing with that.

The original Savage. I absolutely loved it, but since you had to rely on other people so much it could be bad, also the fact when I started it I sucked. Now don't get me wrong, I'm usually good at games, but even my friends were looking over my shoulder and mentioning how odd it was that I was dying so much.

I should really pick up the second one.

Beautiful Katamari.

It lulls you into a false sense of security with its easy beginning then slowly gets harder. Then it becomes nearly impossible. Yet I couldn't stop playing it.

Call of Duty's bonus mission on Veteran. I played it over... And over... And over... Finally got it, though, with 1.3 seconds to spare.

Other than that... Street Fighter IV. "Beginner Friendly" my ass.

Also, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. That game is tough, if not glitchy...

Black & White.
1. bad pathfinding
2. casting a spell/miracle with that clumsy gesture system really was a miracle
3. "fixed" in game events that obliterate all your progress in one single cut scene ... if you are not a "speed god" or immune to point 2 of the list

first game for which i really thought it hated me
but i loved it...

I am a little suspicious that Overlord hates me.

Most times I get a choice in action, some glitchy shit will force me to go one way only (oh, you wanted to give that food to the villagers? TOO BAD THE TELEPORTER ISN'T WORKING ANY MORE, YOU EVIL BIAAAAAAAAATCH!). Or civilians will randomly attack me. Or my little minion guys will randomly attack passer-bys. Or my minions will run to their death while I smash the controller, trying to bring them back. Basically I am being forced to act like an incompetent asshole against my will, beyond even the limited scope of the game's morality.

R-Type!

I remember being a kid and playing on it on one of my friends games machines (his dad rented them, awesome or what)and it was tricky but fun
skip ahead 15 years or so and the game now consistently kicks my ass before I even get near the first boss.. seriously it just doesn't want me to win, no matter what I do it kicks my ass :-(

Mirror's Edge.

Littaly: This time I'm going to make it! I'm going to hit that pipe on the first try!
Mirror's: NO U!
Littaly: Bah, it's okay, I can still beat my high score in time as long as I can take this shortcut here.
Mirror's: WUT SHORTCUT LOL!?
Littaly: Okay, that's chill, I'll just play another level. Man I love how fast paced this game is.
*hits a dead end*
Mirror's: C WUT I DID THAR?
Littaly: Okay, second thought this level was a pain in the butt, let's try some time trials..
Mirror's: SAY HELLO TO THE GROUND LULZ! U SUCK BALLZ!
*turns power off*
