Gears of War, I'm pretty sure when I chainsawed my first dude I had a giant ass smile on my face and was giddy as a schoolgirl.

Half-Life 2 turned me from a casual gamer to a hardcore gamer. It was the first game that really got me into multiplayer and mods.

Battlefield 2 turned me from an easy going, mild-mannered gamer to a RAEG-filled gamer. Seriously, that game could make you so freaking mad...

And I played it when I was 6, too.. weird.
That's kind of creepy. Same for me. LoZ: OoT when I was 6, I got into videogames because of it. Hmmm.
I think it was because we were all born in '92, and it came out in 98.

On that note, hello fellow 17 year olds!
HERRO!

We should form a clan of people who are seventeen and played OoT as their first video game at the age of six.

Or is that too specific?
If we had to have mustaches then it would be too specific.
Good, I don't have the testosterone to grow a mustache anyway. ;p
Well theres always hormone therapy, but the day someone recommends that I take the opposites sex's hormones in order to grow hair in places I've never grown it before to settle an unbelievably specific request to form a clan based around an arbitrary age similarity of people who played a Nintendo game 11 years ago is the day I say 'go away you silly person.'
So... fake mustaches, then?
For you maybe, I can grow one in 4 days. I AM MAN!!
Augh, hindered by girliness AGAIN! >:[

Mass Effect (got the 2nd half of my pen name from there, plus it's hella fun) and Perfect Dark Zero (inspired me to write my book.).

(ok, I know I didn't really explain how they changed me as a person, but there's not much detail to really get into.)

Shadow of the Colossus. First non-mainstream game I ever played. Which probably explains why I talk about it on here way too much...

Doom 64, played it when I was still in Diapers.
Watched when I was just born.
It made me find Violence and Destrcution, childish.

but it's still fun.

Well if i had to said that a game that has changed my life i guess it would have to be Assassins Creed i thought that the storytelling was pretty good i thought the ending made you think about what the symbolism meant

The Metal Gear Solid series, since they made me appreciate storytelling in a game and prompted me to think about some pretty heady subjects like patriotism, war, genetics, fate, sociology, and so on and so forth.

The Monkey Island series. Playing it made me a better person SOMEHOW, I'm sure of it...

I think Halos two and three as well as Fable 2 and L4D have made me more of a cynic, not to say they weren't good. They just weren't the second coming of Christ like they promised.

I learnt all my medieval history from Age of Empires.
I got my whole ideas of architecture from HL2 modding and Mirrors Edge design.
I reckon gaming made my life.

Deus Ex!

I pretty much entered into internet based communications just because of that game.
