It would have to be Sonic on the Sega Master System. It was the first game I ever played where I thought WOW this is fun! What else you got?

Gta IV. After completing GTA IV a week or so after its release(console release) i got very motivated to make money, most likely due to how Nico could live his life with sports cars, luxurious apartments and designers clothing.
Though making money a illegal way was out of the question but instead i wanted to focus on my school grades.
I just completed my second last year in the swedish equivalent to high school with 10 out of 10 A's. Not sure how much GTA IV actualy had to do with my performance increase but i think it motivated me, enough to be mentioned in this thread anyway.

Also i should mention World of Warcraft and how it has messed up my social life, but that's another story wich we all have heard more than once before.

Most definately Ocarina of Time it showed me that even when your some kid in the forest you can still make it out and save the world and make a difference to everyone. especially when you meet all of the characters and see how much different the world is because of your actions it made me think about stuff like global citizenship and what have you although I was pretty young when I played it so concepts like these were much more generalized :p

I forgot about Majora's Mask. Played it religiously for what seemed like years. And I was depressed all the time.
