Borderlands (sorry!): Because of that game I almost lost the will to live. Just atrocious.
Graphically wicked, game play.... *shakes head*

Counter-Strike classic, a custom map after a 5 hour session, somesing moved and I shot it. Sen I saw it was a small kitty. It was not my fault!

No seriously, never cried because of a game, but did so while playing one. But sat was somesing personal in an MMORPG, not se game's storyline.

I cried at the end of Final Fantasy VII and when (SPOILER ALERT!) Aeris died.

I cried when I got the Bioshock 1 good ending. A lot. I'm a sucker for sap.
I did too. You could cut down every tree in Canada and get less sap than that cutscene.

Fable 2 almost made me cry when I lost my dog. Through the whole game, he got on my nerves to the point that I wanted to kill him myself. When he was gone, the game felt empty.

Devil May Cry had me crying tears of rage when I failed for the 10000000000th time. Of course, it may very well have been tears of pain. I broke three bones in my hand by punching the f*** out of my TV

the completely good ending of bioshock 2 made me happy, the mostly good made me really depressed, and sniper wolf's death. i also felt really bad for psycho mantis, his speech at his death was very moving

Never was brought to tears by a game I've seen too many real tragedies for that. But one of the first flashback dreams in Lost Odyssey made my girlfriend cry.

The saddest ending I can think of is in the spectaclar "Conker's Bad Fur Day"

after all that effort of blackmailing the game designers to help him kill the xenomorph and become king but then he forgets to bring Berry back from the dead.

the scene in the bar afterwards left me feeling very deflated.

I cried at then end of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Its really well thought out because everyone knows the ending anyway, but its still upsetting.

Mass Effect 2

I fucked up the suicide mission and got Garrus killed. I deleted the only save I had on that career and started all over just because I didn't want to lose him.

...well, not crying-level, but I will say that when Toby sacrifices himself to un-undead-ify (how's that for a word?) Tanya in Quest For Glory IV, I felt pretty sad for the big lug.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.... That game shows how you end a freaking game...
This.

An amazing game that nearly had me bawling out my eyes. It was very well done.

Sniper Wolf's death and when Emma Emmerich dies.

Poor Hal...
Hal always seems to get the short end of the stick in MGS games, huh? The only one I can remember that had no one Hal loved dying in them is MGS3 and that's simply because Hal wasn't even in it. I'm sure if Hal was a baby or something in that game, they'd have him lose his favorite pacifier and he'd just burst into tears... and the scene would be EPIC!!!

No but I was kinda caught off guard actually at the end of Super Mario Galaxy

That cute little star thing waves goodbye and hurls itself into a supernova to form a new galaxy...

I got a touch lumpy-throated at the end of MGS3. The only actual tears I can think of were due to laughter the first time I watched the intro to Katamari Damacy.

I'd actually find that more sad considering it would mean he grew up at a young age with war. At least without Hal in MSG3, you can think at least he grew up reasonably normal. Shame everyone around him seems to die. Just hope the new Metal Gear Solid will feature Hal not having to experience loss again; otherwise I'll be convinced he has the funeral home on speed-dial.
