Games that make level grinding fun

The only game that I ever found grinding to be fun, was pokemon. All others suck. Make me want to shove a shotgun into my gameing device and pull the trigger.

Pokemon? That's debatable.
I've played dang near all of them, but I'd hardly call the grinding in that game 'fun',
It normally consists of; Find spot of grass, walk around several spaces, beat wild pokemon, rinse & repeat.
About the only changes that happens during this process is if you change loctaion, go back to the pokemon centre, or by some rare occurrence find a shiny pokemon.

No, it isn't debatable. I didn't claim that you enjoyed grinding in pokemon. I said that I enjoyed grinding in pokemon. And I do, there is no debate. I enjoy it because of how varied the enemy pokemon are. I also enjoy it because the leveling system is fairly rapid.

I'd still call this a debate, even if it does become short.
And who's to say I'm not the only who doesn't like grinding in the Pokemon series? And yes, there's just as likely to be a number of people on your side of this.
I did however, find it weird that it's THE ONLY game series you'd enjoy 'grinding' in.

I don't care that you find it odd. Nor did I make any assertion that you were the only who didn't enjoy grinding in pokemon. Nor did I make any assertion that others liked grinding. It is not debatable that I only like grinding in the pokemon series, that's my opinion, deal with it.

The first time you have to go to max level in WoW the grinding is fun. You can do it through questing, PvP, instancing, crafting, etc. Since there's such a variety in the game play, the leveling sometimes seems secondary. The second time around the is atrocious. I'm assuming it's still like this, haven't played WoW in some time.

There were indeed some fun "grinds" in WoW. I think a large part of what made me enjoy them a lot more then other people was that I felt that most of the grinds were completely optional. I met a lot of people with the opposite idea, they grumbled and bitched and moaned while doing dailies. It always rather confused me to see that. The reward was never "that" important that you have to do something you don't enjoy.

(I can only speak about pre-cata as I quit before cata came out)

The daily quests had a lot of variety. If you don't like that daily skip it and do a different one instead.

It's not the games, it's level grinding in them. but: Dragon age, both. Mass Effect, both. WOW. DDO. Alpha Protocol. Rachet and Clank. FFXIII. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
