Does anyone here have any games that make you just feel uncomfortable when you play them?

For me, it's Half-Life 2. Don't get me wrong, I really like it, and it's a fantastic game, but...I dunno, when I play it something just doesn't feel right. Was that intended? Maybe it's the headcrabs...

So, what games make you feel uncomfortable when you play them?

Rule of Rose

one of my all time favorite games but the many subtle undertones to pedophia and other weird shit really makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes. Thankfully it's done in good tastes and the story is phenomenal.

Fallout 3 when there is nothing around. It always makes me uneasy and is always followed by this.
Then you turn around to see a Deathclaw making merry with your spine.

Sander Cohen did it for me. I was in a dank bathroom and I had the bright idea of blasting one of the plaster statues with a shotgun.......

Rapelay The milkman conspiracy part of Psychonauts made me really uncomfortable. Also, pretty much all of Bioshock. Even when getting attacked by Splicers, everything felt really lonely.

I play eroge. Discomfort is pretty much par for the course, at times, especially if you get a poorly-written one...

Other than that, I've played games that I felt disturbed playing. Like Syphon Filter. I can't be the only one who suddenly got squeamish around the fourth guard I lit on fire with a taser.

Fallout 3.

There were some choices in the game that really made me think about my moral standing.
I'm not comfortable with a game making me look that deep into myself just to solve a quest.

I once had to play Halo 3 multiplayer as a Spartan because my friends refused to stop long enough to let me customise.
I scrubbed and I scrubbed afterwards but I still felt filthy.

It freaked me out when you leave the one room and all the statues are GONE, even though I figured that may happen.

But what really freaked me out was how when the plaster statue splicers are roaming around, unlike the regular splicers, they DON'T MAKE ONE DAMN SOUND. That had me shitting bricks.

When I first played through Mass Effect, and wasn't trying to play as a Paragon or Renegade, some of the decisions I had to make really got me thinking (especially when it turned out they were technically the 'renegade' choices - it showed me something about myself, I guess). But I love games that do that to me.

Also, at the start of GTA:IV, something about the way the game world is designed is just masterfully oppressive, with the dark landscape and tall buildings crowding you in. I hold the environment design in GTA:IV responsible for why I played that game completely differently to how I played every other GTA game. I actually felt like an alien living in a foreign land.

Another game that made me feel uncomfortable, but, in a bad way, was Fable II. A few hours into the game, I realised I was spending the entire gaming experience trying to make myself look better to a bunch of characters who didn't exist...I was scared of them judging me. I was feeling the exact same time of social anxiety that I get in real life that I try to avoid in video games. I couldn't even turn it around when I tried to play as an evil character, because they all magically knew I was a murderer. oO

There isn't one I can think of that is actually good. I'm uncomfortable playing most bad games.
