Final Fantasy VI
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
Deus Ex
Half-Life
Unreal/Unreal II
The Marathon trilogy (if you say Halo, I'll cut you)

A remake of the first Street Fighter would be nice, too. Just have the same 12 characters, fix the controls and up the pace. I'm sure every fighting game fan would pick that up.

an hd f-zero game.
0.0 Fuck yes! God, I loved F-Zero X, probably the game I clocked the most hours on! (well, exaggeration, but still... most pure fun on a cartridge to be found!) Ah, that oval speed track, with a little bump at the end of the recharge strip that would launch you if you were going over 1000km/hr... Happy days ^_^

Got the Gamecube one, still pretty sweet but the music's worse. A newer one would definitely require investigation...

Also, Mechwarrior 2 or 3, Jet Force Gemini (only scratch the stupid bear fetch quests - I actually want to meet the final boss XD), Banjo Kazooie and Mario 64 - I never ended up getting that game, and would like a second chance...

Metal Gear Solid...A proper HD remake would be nice =3
So would Half Life 1, the Doom series and OH! Kingsley's Adventure. I feel like I was the only person who played that game...Also Future Cop: LAPD *looks into the distance nostalgically* Ah...childhood.

I'll just let Gametrailers.com [http://www.gametrailers.com/video/top-10-gt-countdown/709845] speak for me this time. Very interesting list these guys came up with...

Also, add Legend of Dragoon.

It's a crime that Snatcher still hasn't had a proper release on modern consoles (let alone when it was new too). It's an amazing game and I would gladly buy a remake of it, it's easily done now with things like the PSN/XBLA. I had to play it through Sega CD emulation in the end and I'm glad I did.

Whatever happened to Project S anyways? Wasn't there meant to be some big revival of the Snatcher universe? I assumed we'd have a remake by now.
Let's get down on our knees and beg Kojima to have something Snatcher related as his new project. I would die from sheer satisfaction with the announcement of it goddammit.
Same.

If I could only ever say one thing to Hideo Kojima:

"Thank you so much for making the most amazing game series I've ever played... But do a goddamn Snatcher remake already, seriously man, what the hell?"

It's like he's forgotten about it, maybe he doesn't realize the fans want it so much?

As I said, it's a crime because it's barely been played, the only english release was a very rare Sega CD port, which I had to play though other means I normally don't prefer...

This is really the only game to me that needs it. It's fans want it, it could use a re-release in todays market and it never got the chance it deserved. I think it would have a whole new generation of fans. It would sell if only for the fact it's Hideo Kojima.

Now that I think of it, Policenauts... I don't think that was ever in English in any form. If they put remakes on one disc or something I would be more than happy to pay full price for it.

FF7. I would say something like Tactics Ogre but the pixels are part of the appeal I think.

Also, Silent Hill.

I really do hope that you are not right that the mod will not feel like hl1. I honestly respect your opinion but lets just wait until the mod comes out. We can't really judge the mod yet simply because they give out so few information. Most of the things i stated i read on their forum which you cant really know if its real information.

btw: yes the new surface tension doesnt sound good compared to the old one
Oh, I'm right there with you. I'm not making a final judgment call yet. I'm still waiting on bated breath for the mods release. And, I truly do hope it turns out to be exactly what they're promising. I.E. Half-Life rebuilt on Source.

However, based on the wealth of info presented on what they've done so far (and there is quite a bit on their site and around the net), I'm not convinced their assertion the mods going to be "Half-Life HD" have any real merit. The biggest culprits, again, are the God awful sounding new soundtrack (though the new Anomalous Materials is okay, if derivative), and the screen caps of redesigned levels. I can appreciate that they want to make their own soundtrack, but slapping in some generic sounding electro tracks is NOT going to cut it. The new tracks just don't illicit the same dark, dread-filled, atmospheric feeling the original soundtrack did.

Again I, like you (I assume), eagerly await the release of this mod. I'm definitely going to be trying it, however I'm not going to put too much hope into the claim that it'll be as good as some people have been saying it will be. Mod team included.

Still, I sincerely wish to be proven wrong. And, should it turn out to be great, I expect...no, I demand you send me a message saying, "Told you so!".

Tetris HD, wait they already have that.

I'm not really fond of putting the energy into remaking the game with a graphics update especially considering that in a few years it will be just as dated but I guess old 8-bit games need an update and seeing tLoZ with better graphics would be cool.

This is personal, but physconauts and Final Fantasy IV, but that one needs to make the characters like they are in the actual intro video and other computer made scenes.

System Shock 2 without a doubt. The game is superb as it is, but the graphics are extremely dated now, and although it doesn't ruin the game at all, it does make it impossible to have the tense/scary atmosphere that it supposedly created when the game was new.
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of the chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.
