ok lets branch out into unexpected territory. a game that needs a sequel.? Mindjack.

This concept is great....the execution..was not. I would love a spiritual sequel to mindjack that does things right. with good voice acting. Good game play. and better design. It has the potential to be a great game if put in competent hands.

Why the double-dog-dammit hasn't anyone made a sequel to Chrono Trigger yet? I've only been waiting like 15 years for it. COME ON GUYS, GET TO STEPPIN'.

And I'm talking DIRECT sequels, Chrono Cross does NOT count.

Chrono Cross is something between a spiritual successor and a sequel. The few ties to Chrono Trigger were rather unnecessary like Kid's backstory linking her to Lucca and Schala and the Masamune's sword of pure evil story. There were other ties but I can't remember them right now.

Let's just hope if they make another one, they don't try to top the amount of underdeveloped characters Chrono Cross had.

Chromehounds, Brutal Legend, and even though it IS a sequel there still needs to be a sequal to LOTR BFME 2.

This doesn't NEED a sequel because it was already so pefect but they need a new Red Dead title.

Red Dead Redemption is in my opinion the greatest single standalone title game ever.

Well, it's already been said, but Mirror's Edge, Alpha Protocol, Battlefront. Wouldn't mind another singleplayer KotOR either.

Definitely another REAL KOTOR SEQUEL not a halfassed Obsidian mess. Though my faith in BioWare is at an all time low for quality right now

edit: That also reminds me that there should be a sequel to the FPS Shadowrun from... what was it, '07?

Never played the table-top but I LOVED the multiplayer FPS. Especially being able to play with my friends on PC while using a 360. That was the best feature of the whole game!

Well I could throwdown some really old references, but I also would like another Dungeon Keeper (ain't that old to me...) the list also includes.

Shining Force (Genisis) (I do not accept the newest on as being a real sequal)
Act Raiser (SNES) (If a studio is brave enough to get that much hatemail from any/all religion)
U.N. Squadron (SNES) (if not a sequal, a faithful update/recreation)
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES) (could be a L4D/2 mod for all I care, but still fun idea)
Trauma Team (Wii) (I have no news on it's sequal, but I would like another game like it without 'just' being about surgery)
No More Heroes (Wii) (Give Travis Touchdown a reason, any reason, give his cat diarhea and BOOM he goes on another kill-spree)
