None of them? Sure anime can make the games world a bit more story based (Such as that Halo one). But that wouldn't be a fair trade off for the over sexualization and other things that make anime borderline unbearable.

Probably Persona 3.

I know P4 is getting an anime, but I'd love to see P3 get one as well.

On a related note: I don't know.

On an unrelated note: is it just me, or would a Borderlands graphic novel be a really good thing?

EXACTLY

Anime adaptations for the majority of the things mentioned above (Warhammer 40k? Lolwut) would be nothing but a bad thing.

Phoenix Wright, I mean every time I play the series I picture it as an anime in my head anyway. Every game is a full season. Every time I see the to be continued title, I pictured as an ending of an episode. I mean look at this fan made intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwVJ1_Un6qU

Hoo yeah... that'd be awesome... Miyuki Sawashiro for the win!

OT: Can't really think of that many, though seeing one for Ico would be interesting. Though it would be better as a dialogue free film.

Really? It would be so because you'd like to stereotype all anime based on a few shows? Thats nice.

And Warhammer 40K is basically the perfect game series for an anime. As long as the producer was willing to listen to Games Workshop and Games Workshop was willing to not have to control everything, a Warhammer 40K anime would be absolutely beautiful. And cheaper and easier to make than another CGI movie or live-action series.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R shadow of Chernobyl! The bandits all have eternal rape faces and laugh like cartoonish villains at the first sign of the hero suffering. The protagonist is followed by a kawaii blind god and whenever anybody discusses plot relevant exposition there is a flashback to the truck crash and your rescue even if that scene is barely relevant and said flashback had been in the last episode.

And the combat would be ultra extreme, and the protagonist would get all pissed when the villains (lets say the monolith) talk about some Stalker friend of his getting shot who he couldn't save and then he gets all pissed, runs straight into the open and shoots massive blue lazers from his gun and owns all the bandits because he used radiation based magical powers or some shit. Oh and the sidequests would all come in the form of filler episodes.

On second thoughts that would be the worst thing in the world ever. I should probarbly delete this comment to make sure TV Tokyo dont get any ideas...

Obviously u have no idea what you are talking about.

Final Fantasy 6 should be in the works anyway ~ looking forward to that.
Star Craft would propably do well.
Ace Combat - Area 88 had a great following and a fairly successfull remake, so could fly as well.
Hitman - Worked as a western blockbuster -possibly a crossover with Golgo13 ?
Armored Core - You can never have enough good mecha series.

Digital Devil Saga.

See, unlike the P4 anime it makes perfect sense. Out of all of Atlus's RPGs, it's the most linear in terms of story and you won't alienate any fans by picking the wrong social links or alignments. In addition to that, the main storyline is a lot stronger than the peripheral stuff, so you won't lose too much in the adaptation. Only problem I can think of is that it would make some of the deconstructions and red herrings less effective. Still, totally worth it.

Then there's Folklore. Parts of it already play like manga, it wouldn't too much work to re-write. If they kept Kenji Kawai's soundtrack it would be awesome.

What about Kingdom Hearts? It's already got a manga adaptation, why not anime?

The only reason they wouldn't is because Disney might not like it.

...although on second thought, isn't there a Lilo and Stitch anime adaptation?

It's been a while since I've been to Japan... =_=
There's already one. :p

It's called Cat Shit One [yes, that's the real name]. After doing some reading, the manga is called Apocalypse Meow.

Yeah riiight the first Space Marine that starts whining like Shinji from NGE will get tried for heresy. That would be awful as the universe is entirely far to dark and gritty and not ambiguously gay enough. I can see it now all the Space Marines turning in to fancy little ladyboys. I'm sorry no one would EVER consider space marines pretty.

Fuck if I know. A game can seriously have trouble being translated into other formats (See also Dead Space Aftermath I.E.The one with shitty CGI. and Sonic X) and then there's things like P4 that has already been mentioned that fans would rage if it didn't go into the direction story wise that it went when they played it.

Anime can't do "Dark", "Serious" or "Gritty"?

Lets take a brief gander at Netflix for a brief list of animes that can do that, shall we?

Tokko
Ghost in the Shell
Trinity Blood
Gai Rei Zero
Death Note
Elfen Lied
Witch Hunter Robin

To name a few.

And Warhammer 40K does not revolve around humanity or the Space Marines. Or have we forgotten about the Tau, Eldar, Orcs and such?
