Games That NEED Sequels

I know there's tons of game franchises out there that have run there course long enough - I'm looking at you, Nintendo - but there's also a few who haven't had a sequel but you'd love there to be one.
I'd say Okami 2 would rock, or at least a PSP addition where you play as Issun.

I loved Legend of the Dragoon's story plus it had one of my favorite battle systems. So simple yet so effective. That first comes to my mind.

Although as Bologna said Republic Commando would be awesome too.

I've been saying this a lot but sega is too busy pounding the Sonic franchise.

Otogi: Myth of Demons.

Otogi 1 was a masterpiece of art, wonder and beauty combined with fast heavy paced gameplay. The sequel was one step forward and two steps back and in this world of excessive gore and tits I'd like one combat game like Otogi to be all about style and artistic beauty that feels legitimate to ancient Japanese mythology.

Make an Otogi 3 damn it.

The deal with psychonauts is that the guy who made that has never amde a sequel as far as I know, and always left rather open endings to his work, as far as I know. I'll be happy so long s he keeps making games.

Republic Commando is possibly my favorite star wars game, and possibly my favorite squad based FPS ever. I would love to see a sequel to that.

Well, Half Life 2: Episode 2 definitely needs one! (Not a Left 4 Dead 2 basher, just a Freeman lover ... you know what I mean).

Power Stone 1 & 2 need a sequel on XBLA / PSN. Think of the carnage! Similarly Choo Choo Rocket. Can't believe no one has capitalised on these with the advent of easy online gaming.

Painkiller. Fix the engine but keep the brilliance.

Obscure one but Guardian Heroes, another ripe XBLA / PSN contender.
