Games That Need The HD Look Like Soon to be released Halo 1

Timesplitters.

If only to get Timesplitters back into the public eye.

Combine the stories of all games into one big-ass campaign(keeping each game's gameplay intact in their respectable campaigns).

And have the multiplayer be like Timesplitters 2, with a couple of good things taken from Future Perfect.

And the Mapmaker. I believe it was the same between both games, think Future Perfect had a bit more to play with though.

Point is, Timesplitters.

I LOVE Timesplitters, so naturally, I also love you by default (congratulations).

Timesplitters would be a perfect candidate. Really clever game, played really well, and I kind of disagree with the part you said about getting it "back into the public eye" because I always felt Timesplitters was dealt a bad hand and was never completely in the public eye, it was sort of in the public eye's peripheral vision. That being said, a reboot/HD version could get things going again, could you imagine if TS1-3 came out as an HD package for PS3 (and possibly 360 since I think it's doing that now too...?)? That would be amazing! And the perfect way to start working on a fourth one (a man can dream...).

I think the Timeplitters series needs a HD remake, desperately. Also, the original 3 Spyro games. Hell, I'd be satisfied if they just released those on the Playstation store.

It is beyond me the notion that KOTOR needs a HD overhaul. Seriously, Biowares engines have not advanced graphics that much. Besides, KoToR you can always play it on the PC to get 1080 reso.

If your going to give a graphical reboot, I think it stands to reason it should be a title more than 1 console generation past.

Honestly, I want to see a graphical reboot on Vagrant Story. That is one game that could really use the overhaul because how great it was.

Nice! And with Crytek behind the wheel, that alone should be boosting it's publicity from the get-go.

The first two that come to mind are already getting an HD remake. Can't wait for Shadow of the Colossus/ICO HD collection.

Otherwise I'd have to say Legend of Dragoon.

Yeah, I said not that much, I didnt say not at all. I would hope that would not have been seen as an insult, because it was more of a compliment on how well KOTORs graphics stand up to todays standards.

Now look at a game like Vagrant story

Keep in mind thats likely an emu ran copy that runs extra filters like Anti Aliasing and blurring and it still looks that rough. I would much rather see a game that has graphics that were jagged and sometimes hard to comprehend get a visual upgrade as opposed to something that still looks decent.

If your going to redo the graphics, Go for the big overhaul, not minor cosmetic improvements.

By that, I mean actually REMAKE the damn game. Sure, give it updated visuals, just put in the other half of the game that was missing.

And I'll join you. Hopefully it won't but if it does we shall march onto Crytek UK and nuke their building, then nuke their corpses.. Then nuke them again for good fucking measure.
