The only collection I was missing was Ratchet & Clank, but it's coming soon, so I'm satisfied!
Wouldn't mind seeing Dark Chronicles released though. Had it for PS2, but it got destroyed when I tried to fix my broken console by throwing it in the floor. Never got very far because I didn't really understand the game. First time I encountered that type of gameplay(like action rpg irrc).
Don't remember if it was good or not, but in my mind it's pretty nostalgic to think about it.

Lufia II was remade for the DS. Sadly not released in Europe...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lufia:_Curse_of_the_Sinistrals

It's an action RPG rather than the original game, but I've heard it's pretty good. Also I have to agree that both those games should be remade. Great games both of them.
you heard wrong, the VO is horrible, the changed Maxim's character (he's something of an idiot in the DS remake) changed weapons for no reason (Tia uses a suit case now),and combat is very dull, they also took away the world map, so there no wandering around the map anymore.

your better off with the SNES version, its better in pretty much every way

OT:

[HEADING=1]Seiken Densetsu 3[/HEADING]

no HD face lift, just re-release it, on SOMETHING GOD DAMN IT >.<
Now that was the biggest disappointment of the day. Oh well, the SNES versions are still some of my favourite games and I guess I will stick with them then.
:( least you didn't have to pay money to find out :( i did.
Yeah... about that... Talking about it made me want it, so 5 minutes after I posted my first post I went to eBay to see if I could find a seller shipping to Europe. I did and I bought it... Well, thanks for the warning anyway. Hopefully I will get some enjoyment out of it...

Homeworld 1 and 2.

1 because I haven't played it and want to.
2 because it was awesome and should get an overhaul.

I guess everything that I'd like was already said. I'd really love a Deus Ex overhaul cis other than games like Doom or System Shock, It aged like a Banana. Which is to say very, VERY poorly. But just the Graphics please, leave the Game alone!Well maybe give us mappaple Quick Implants, but that's it!
Other than that I'm still waiting for Black Mesa and a both the original Blood Omen and Soul Reaver would be really nice. And Tie-Fighter, that would fuckin rock!

i...what? what is wrong with you people? deus ex yes, because it looks like complete ass and is woefully obsolete technology wise (even though it would never happen because that kind of content-packed complex-gameplay would never fly in the current gen). KOTOR 2 yes because it was unfinished, but Re4? mass effect? are you f**king serious?! the things you want improved barely qualify as an EVE online content patch, not a whole re-release. not to mention the fact that you want a remake of a game IN THE CURRENT CONSOLE GENERATION. does that not strike anyone else as a bit indulgent?! a bit... buying into the practice of publishers releasing the same game again in HD because people are so hopelessly enslaved to the advance of technology that any trivial improvement somehow justifies buying the same thing again? do you want every game to be like street fighter, with a new super-ultimate-turbo edition every year?

there are absolutely ZERO games that NEED a re-release or remake. a few gems of yesteryear could use updates so that the current generation could appreciate the classics, but modern trends have a habit of fucking up any attempt to revitalize things from other eras of time. see: duke nukem, x-com FPS, the entire modern movie industry with its endless stream of nostalgia-exploiting shitty remakes and adaptations...

the only games that could be updated with acceptable changes are games that are modern enough to have no reason to be updated.

Ocarina of Time on either Xbox or PS3.
Yes, Nintendo should totally let their rival companies profit from their IP. This is exactly how they'll make enough money to keep themselves in business.

No. Really. What are you smoking?

In all seriousness, if games deserve remakes, it's the N64/PS1 era. These are easily the worst looking games ever. I mean, compare SMW to SM64. SMW was SNES but was more aesthetically pleasing since it made 2D look good instead of a bad, unpolished 3D.

I would throw my wallet at Microsoft for an HD remake of Halo 2. Not a half-assed semi-remake like Halo Anniversary. I mean an honest-to-God 100% authentic remake of Halo 2. Glitches and all.

MY MONEYZ. TAKE THEM.

Psychonauts has it's own unique style of visuals but it could still use an HD re-release.
Silent Hill 1 and 3 should be remade and streamlined together on a single disc.
Silent Hill 2 and 4 should get a similar treatment as they are connected as well.
Silent Hill Origins should get a complete overhaul from head to toe, with more story details.
Timesplitters 2 and 3 should get an HD re-release and streamlined together on a single disc.
Deus Ex Human Revolution should be remade.
Bully should get an HD re-release for Ps3 with some extra bells and whistles.
Half-Life should get an HD re-release.
Gauntlet Dark Legacy should get an HD re-release.
Fatal Frame 1, 2, and 3 should be remade and streamlined together on a single disc.

totally up for a resident evil remake style-e for 1,2 and 3. Keep the controls, made it more atmospheric but make the foreground as pretty as the backgrounds.

F-Zero X. great game, blisteringly fast, but but ugly. Give it AX graphics and all the tracks form all F-zeros. keep the shoulder button barging and the death race, you know it makes sense!

Mario kart. Ok work with me here. All that ninty needs to do here, is release all the tracks from snes and n64 versions and they will have my money. an add on patch to kart wii would be nice, but they would still have my money just for a re-release with all of the tracks, multiplayer carnage.

I happily played through KOTOR I and II the other day. graphics still looked great, once i managed to get them to work on my win7 pc. don't think they need an overhaul, but the patch implemented to number two would be nice. not all remakes should focus on the maguffin of HD

MGS 1, but done in a deus ex HR style. obviously not the rpg elements, just the stealth gameplay style would be pretty awesome.

actually, the original deus ex while you're at it...

Forget about graphics for a moment and think about what could be done with the control schemes.

TESIII: Morrowind.

Keep the core gameplay, leveling & and skill system, dungeons and items, but pretty much make it graphically as good as Skyrim. Update the animations, music, add in passive Magicka regen, and make some changes to melee combat (specifically, I want it to be feasible to level a new weapon skill without spending tons of gold training myself to the point where I can actually hit anything). But make sure to keep Morrowind's aesthetic. By all means, make HD textures and higher-poly meshes, but make sure it still looks like Morrowind, not like Oblivion or Skyrim. Keep the magic system pretty much unchanged, aside from aforementioned Magicka regen. Also, make sure Tribunal and Bloodmoon are packaged with it, free of charge.

Yeah, as soon as I could get a computer that could run it, I would buy it. No matter how much it cost.

Legend of Dragoon. The in-battle voicing wasn't so bad, but the graphics would need an update, the story a little re-jumbling and the spelling mistakes and lack of testing in that regard... OH GAWD does that need an update...

How is Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary a semi-remake? Nothing was changed in terms of gameplay, and the graphics were a marginal improvement over Halo 3's. Disregarding that, however, I agree with you about Halo 2. Certain aspects of the game - especially the levels that take place in New Mombasa - have a lot of potential in the graphics department, while the gameplay has a raw, inherent fun to it.

Deus Ex - Deus Ex in shiny HD? Yes please.
THIS, im not one for caring about graphics but the original deus ex is just so ugly, i can barely play the game because i cant tell whats what. So i think this would deffinitly benefit...hell maybe not even a hd version, maybe just remake the game!

From what I've seen/heard, Halo Anniversary used Halo Reach's multiplayer format. Jetpacks and bullshit like that. I don't want to play Halo Reach. I want to play Halo goddamn 2. I want it to be EXACTLY how I remember it.
