Ray Man needs to make another great platformer like The Great Escape.

I'd also like to see another Turok game that doesn't suck Brontasaurus balls.

I'd definitely love to see remake of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
... Hell, with today's graphics and gameplay mechanics you could actually remake Blood Omen into the most awesomesauce game of the decade.

I could go for an X-Com remake.
There are TWO on the way.
One is a "re-imagining", which is almost complete. And totally sucks.
The other is a more faithful remake (read: X-Com with prettier graphics) which is somewhere around early pre-alpha stages... Soon.
Both by fans of the original games, as far as I know.

So yeah, ignoring those there really needs to be a REAL X-Com remake so you can get horribly raped* by aliens who will NOT lower themselves to letting your soldiers have a chance in HELL of actually surviving, much less winning the war.

*Yes. I mean it literally. They will grab your soldiers, but they prefer unarmed civilians, inject them with paralyzing venom and then shove an egg through the nearest bodily orifice (or making their own holes. They're not picky) before setting the zombie-like husk shambling towards their friends/loved ones as they're eaten alive from the inside-out. At this point, the only thing you can do is give them a merciful death and brace yourself for heavy casualties.
And that's the aliens that are at least fair enough to only kill you when it's their turn. Most of the other aliens tend to kill you on YOUR OWN turn.

Gods I love that game. :D

That's cool, I'll probably take a look at those fan games. And how can I not but agree that X-Com is alien raping difficult? Of course, that's why we love it ;) Clearing a map is like "OH MY GOD YESSSSSSS! It may have taken 50 loads but I DID IT!"

Okami... Sure, there's the DS one coming out, but I'd squeal with joy if I ever saw Okami 2 or something similar coming out for consoles... That's very unlikely to happen though, seeing as Clover Studios is closed down.

For me this is kind of a rant because i'm always so mad every time i see someone saying no mother 4 but off that topic what games do you think need to make a comeback? Good sonic games Earthbound whatever you think needs to come back what do you think?
I want to see a nice Metal gear style Bionic Commando... stealthy, sneaky creative.

Not that new bionic commando that just kinda....left me feeling now old games are like Charles Angel/Dukes of Hazard movies. It's not about remaking more than making fun of...

I think they should remake Skys of Arcadia, I used to love that game way back before my Dreamcast broke.

Not really old games or anything, but I want another Unreal Championship, and more 3D platformer games in the same vein as Spyro, Croc etc, Super Mario Galaxy is the only recent example of these kind of games I can think of.

I believe there needs to be more original ideas and concepts instead of re-packaging of the same old thing. BUT I do believe some games should be re-made.

Clock tower: 8 different endings, survival horror, surpriseing in depth game play, the first clock tower should be re made with really good graphics and made to be extreamly paranoid and frightened. The first clock tower had a lot of potential to be re-made to be absolutly terrifying.

Populious 4

Populious was awsome, being a god was never so much fun. put on an x-box 360, it would be even sweeter.

Haunting with Polterguy

Scaring people can be hillariously fun, and re-done on a bigger and badder game system then the sega would make it even more fun. There is something about causeing a severed hand to bounce all over a middled aged fat woman that never gets old. Or throwinf knives, or possession, or makeing rocking chairs levitate and melt on people.

Earthbound highlights a long list of JRPG's that never made the transition to the HD generation but rather started dieing out last gen. To name a few, Earthbound/Mother simply disappeared. Phantasy Star turned into a MMO for some reason and faded into obscurity. Lunar 1 & 2 was followed up by Grandia 1 & 2 which was followed up by mediocre titles eventually dropping that franchise. After having two games on the PS1 and 3 and a spinoff on the PS2 Konami doesn't seem to have any serous interest in continuing the Suikoden series. And Shining Force, along with all the other Shining/Force games, got screwed up as badly as Sonic. I know they're not that popular around here, but as a fan of them from the start it sucks that JRPG's have basically reverted back to their pre-FFVII days. It's not that I want to just see old series re-hashed again and again, but with the exception of Final Fantasy they've basically all died off and there's little to replace them.

One is called Project Xenocice [http://www.projectxenocide.com/].
I don't remember if that's the bad one or the too-early-to-tell one though. Give me a sec and I'll check.
Can't remember the name of the other one so hopefully Xenocide is the non-crap one.

Project Xenocide is pretty much a straight up remake of the original X-Com, but since it's still in version 0.4 it's missing just about everything except the very basics of the game engine.

Still, give it a few years and it could be interesting. ;)

Thank you!

You reminded me of two of my favorite series. Rayman: The Great Escape was my first and favorite Rayman game of the series. Turok 64 was amazing and Turok: Evolution was kind of good, but these new Turoks just suck, like you said. Trying to modernize Turok into some sort of stupid space marine like everything else in the gaming genre now-a-days.

I really wish that the Call of Duty: United Offensive servers didn't die. That game had the best multiplayer of all time and recently when I got on nearly all the servers were empty. I miss it...

I'd really like to see a new version of Majora's Mask.

While the other games in the Zelda series are good, Majora's Mask has some of the most interesting gameplay ever; Items, Masks, Transformations and Time Travel.

No other game has so many fun elements for me.
