Metal Arms! That was/is a really good game in my opinion. Of course not perfect.... but its story and humor were pretty solid.
Ninja'd, yeah they had a sequel planned apparently they'd animated a lot of it as well then Blizzard bought the company and it was put on "hold"

Deus Ex

It got a prequel but they never made a sequel, what a shame.
Well... They did, but that didn't turn out so well. But I agree, a real sequel to Deus Ex would be incredible. I think everyone who worked on Human Revolution have proved themselves to be capable of continuing the franchise.
Good sir I do believe you are mistaken. Perhaps you are thinking of another beloved franchise which sequel took a massive dump on the original and breaking the hearts of its adoring fanbase forcing them to find back street surgeons who were willing to remove parts of the brain in order to erase all knowledge of the sequel from their memories...

I love to see a sequel to Hogs of War never understood why it didn't get one. Great 3D worms style game with funny dialogue that I still play to this day from time to time.

Mirrors Fucking Edge. The original wasn't perfect, but it was still a great idea and a very cool world.

captcha - forbidden fruit. Damn!
Glad somebody else thought this. I would love to see a sequel to this, I loved the game, the setting, the imagery and the fact that you could play an entire game without actually having to shoot anyone!
I third both these sentiments. True multiplayer even on the original would be incredible. Imagine 4 player package delivery races, that would be awesome.

Armed and Dangerous. Storywise, it ties up everything at the end nicely, but I would love to see what the team could do with a bigger budget and more advanced graphics.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System

I never knew what happened to that series until Jim brought it up. I loved that game...

EDIT:

Phantom Crash- Sure it had a bad case of Engrish but it was still a well solid game for its time. The sequel would of had online multiplayer and being able to play music you store inside your 360.
It did actually have a sequel...of sorts. Look into S.L.A.I. (Steel Lancer Arena International). There was however, no sequel to that. It's a shame, since I really loved both games.

And only 6 posts before someone didn't get it.

OT: I'm still holding out for a Mafia 3. The second was plagued by development issues and even though it peters out in final third/quarter, it wouldn't take much to get it to its potential.

And hey, maybe after a third round of telling people "we're not interested in making GTA", they'll fucking learn to listen.

OH GOD YES. One of the best games ever, can't believe that still hasn't had a sequel. Just imagine an open world Mirror's Edge... Or at least semi-open, with multiple paths to the final destination. It'd be so awesome.

This surgery sounds like something I may be interested in.

Hogs of War! Jesus, I forgot that thing existed! Can you imagine how incredibly over the top and awesome it could be if made today? With awesome graphics, great voice acting and a silly yet engaging plot? I demand a Hogs of War sequel!

Yes they should, though I'm not sure who owns the rights to it now that original developer no longer exists. Plus having Rik Mayall insult your playing skills in multiplayer is something everyone should experience.

You know what? we don't need a Hogs sequel. We just need Rick mayall to release a CD full of game related insults. Also, an MP3 download version.
