SUPER MEAT BOY

I've played frustrating Puzzle Platformers but by Jupiter Super Meat Boy made me rage.

Demospam, spies who only go for heavies, and the infinite idiocy of my own team. I ragequit the game forever - well okay, for a few months at a a time.

2009's Shao Khan: SFIV's Seth. But he actually has a pattern (except on hard?) that's easy to exploit. So I get pissed off at Abel. For some reason his moves seem even cheaper.

and losing a capital ship in Sins of a Solar Empire because all the automation delays a jump to safety for so long. Gah!

Did absolutely nobody play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 in the arcades or at home? Shao Kahn is indeed a hard bastard, but he always has been. Was I the only one expecting it?

SC2. Play when Im tired. Lose because I made one mistake because I was tired. RAGE.

or

BC2, anyone using slugs, CG, or spamming 40mm grenades. That stuff needs to get u banned but so many servers allow it even though its broken.

Now, I can sympathize of course, but basically...Shao Kahn was NEVER fair, so I don't even see the surprise here.

No no, proper rage-inducers are physics fails where a thing is suppose to act according to the consistancy of the game physics and it doesn't. Shao Kahn doesn't actually count because MK bosses ALWAYS cheat and you shouldn't expect anything else but that.

Oh, Seth's easy once you get used to it, although that could be down to the character. I main as Cammy.

Although, while I say that, he is a cheap-ass bastard on 'hardest' difficulty (I managed to beat him. Eventually.)

I don't anger easily. I suppose a game has never made me rage, but I definitely have been frustrated before.

Best example would be Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Sometimes my opponent wins in a way that is absolutely ridiculous. In retrospect, it was hilarious, but at the time I was rather peeved.

To be specific, I was Olimar and he was Dedede. We're down to our last lives, both at around 100+ damage.

He knocks me away, I just barely get back on to the stage. He footstools me before I can grab the edge, I plummet and lose.

Playing Touhou on any difficulty above Normal.

I am alarmingly incompetent at those kinds of games, and any given attempt at these games on hard or lunatic will usually end with me banging my head against the desk.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 online. Getting sniped by somebody 20 miles away you can't see or when somebody nabs a viechel and hides on edge of map slowly killing everybody to improve there K/D ratio. In TD its ok but in objectives based games it just seems cheap.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2's single player mode. I always end up being the only trooper that actually tries to go after command posts while my AI allies either stand in spawn picking their nose or racking up friendly fire kills by wildly tossing grenades. I remember playing as the Republic on Utapau and losing about thirty troopers to an enemy tank because my allies would wait until it was right next to them before throwing a grenade at it.

Well, that's the way I am. Along with that, I'm incredibly thick skinned, unlike most of the people on this forum, I must say, so nothing you said was insulting in the slighest. I would love to see you being unkind.

Am I uncivilized because I don't communicate in the same ultra-liberal fashion you're apparently used to or did I babble unintelligibly somewhere along the lines?

Lastly, PMs are something I have no interest in. I want people who have a point against what I say to be able to speak up, and if they can't, well, that's a point in my favour the way I see it.
What does being "thick skinned," or not "ultra-liberal", have to do with being annoying, which is what you are? Do you realize what you're even saying? It's like being proud of being an ass and being found repellent.

What? Whenever people don't wanna have these arguments/fights with you it is b/c you, gasp!, won? Jeez...

How old are you? Just out of curiosity.

Persona 4... Just Persona 4. Fucking bosses

Its just the fact that if your main character dies, it's Game Over no matter how many revive potions you're carrying or that your Preistess is still fine. In a JRPG with Turn Based Combat that's just not right...

Also the weakness = extra turn should never be applied to bosses

Still an awesome game though
