Alright, this is my first topic, don't be hatin'.

I went out and bought some cheap games for my PS2 due to raw boredom, and found a relatively good game called Black. the story was about a black ops agent being interrogated over war crimes, and you played through his memories. I don't wanna give away to much about it. Anyways, I felt that this was a story better than going and spending $8 to get jabbed in the eyes by transformers, so I felt like asking you guys of your rare occasions with a legitimate story, or vice versa.

Obligatory "Use the search bar".
Obligatory "Welcome to the escapist".

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus should be movies.

No. The whole emotional experience of SotC comes from having to murder these peaceful creatures. And they're already making one. From the writer of the last Street Fighter movie. I shit you not.

I think that they could have made a movie on the old school C&C series, (ie: back when it was actually good). Also half life, and psycho-naughts (yes seriously), also half life, and maybe onf of the older Baulder's gate games (ie: one of the original games) . However I wouldn't want to see any decent games desecrated by our wonderful film industry, so I'd rather not any of them be made into movies as it stands. Most of them would likely turn into the butchery of the transformers, or that piece of shit they called "hitman" [I have nothing against Vin "diesel" (XD) he did an awesome job in pitch black].

I don't think any game should be a movie for fear of them ruining the franchise...

On a somewhat related note.. Who else totally called it, on that THE ROCK is gonna be Marcus in the Gears of War movie, Cause I sure as hell did.

Called it!!!

I should hope you don't, considering 47 was played by Timothy Olyphant in the movie.

He hasn't been confirmed. The screenwriter wants him, but he's not casting director, so it's all up in the air right now.

I guess I will say it again. God of War directed by Zack Snyder with Vin Diesel as Kratos. Pure win.

No he is not. He is Greek. As in a Spartan. Have you actually looked at Greek people? They are not black.

Okay, sorry. But my point still stands, since Vin Diesel is also not Greek.

Lots of actors are not the nationality that they portray in movies. That is why they are actors. He looks likes like Kratos. He can act opposite of what most people think. Watch "Find Me Guilty". You will see. I don't know why he goes for shitty movies that demean him as an actor.

i think that Devil May Cry would make a good movie, probly just me though.
If it was done right it would kick ass. Sam Raimi should direct it. Good mix of horror and comedy.

A point which really annoys me to no end. Frankly, it's lazy. What's wrong with casting a British actor to play a British character, or a Russian actor for a Russian character?
